## What is Playful Pause?

Playful Pause keeps screen time calm and consistent across every device your child uses.

Using Playful Pause requires an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription purchased through Apple. Eligible new subscribers can start with a 3-day free trial; a purchase is required to continue after the trial. One subscription covers the whole family, including invited co-parents. Pricing and trial eligibility are shown before purchase, and existing subscribers can restore purchases.

You set one daily schedule and time budget. Playful Pause keeps to it everywhere your child plays: iPhone and iPad with Apple Screen Time and Family Controls, Windows PCs with a companion app, and Nintendo Switch. One plan, every screen, managed from your phone.

When time runs low, your child sees a gentle wind-down shaped with input from a child psychologist. A few slow breaths, a friendly transition prompt, and a positive streak that rewards stopping on time. Ending screen time turns into a routine the whole family can live with.
