I have used some sports apps in the past but never had seen anything like PlayLokal. This app basically allows you to find available courts and basketball games at any time mostly in Sydney. Although, there are new courts included in Melbourne where I’m from.

The app comes with great features to filter and customise your search and game level and tracking. I highly recommend this app!!! 🏀🏀

That’s the app I was waiting for! As a young professional I cannot always commit to a routine and PlayaLokal offers me to play basketball spontaneously and meet new people. Such a great idea, an app that isn’t aimed to keep your online longer but actually to get you out into real life.

I’ve always been keen to try basketball but was new to the community so I didn’t know much courts or where to look for them. Facebook is only helpful if you already know the court/ league. This app is gamechanger!! Awesome interface and a great way to track scores and stats. Looking forward to newer features!

As a foreigner who freshly transferred to Australia for work, PlayLokal is exactly what I needed ! From spontaneously meeting new people to being able to play the sport that I love, it solved a big question mark I had on top of my mind ahead of my move to my new life here in Sydney ! Thank you !
