### 4/5 — Love this app

*2016-09-18, version 1.4.1*

Great app, perfect for parties. I just wish it had the ability to integrate with a Subsonic music server.

### 4/5 — Great player with an annoying flaw

*2015-04-17*

I purchased this app after trying the free version and it does what I expected it to do. The interface is very slick and easy to use. The problem I have is the app overrides the screen from dimming or turning off. If my phone is charging the screen will not dim. If it is not plugged in, the screen won't dim or turn off. That's a big problem for obvious reasons. Once this gets fixed I will rate it higher.

### 3/5 — Latest iOS release has caused glitching

*2014-12-18*

This is my favorite music app, but sadly it is no longer working.

### 4/5 — Cool app

*2014-08-31, version 1.2.4*

Slick and well designed. Could do with some enhancements for the request option so I as Dj can confirm or reject before it goes into list, and at same time move to top and not always bottom of list by default

### 5/5 — Thomas

*2014-05-31, version 1.2.4*

Finally found the app I have been looking for!

### 4/5 — Love it!

*2014-04-03, version 1.2.4*

Apart from not being able to download some songs due to some kind of restriction, this app is great. Easy to use. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Brilliant And Fun

*2014-04-02, version 1.2.4*

We used this at our wedding reception and it was perfect. All of the features were key. No music we did not like was played, no one could hog the list and songs never repeated within half an hour. Love it, made our day even more special. Thank you. :)

### 4/5 — Almost great...

*2014-02-24, version 1.2.4*

Just missing some EQ ability...

### 5/5 — Does everything the stock music player should !

*2014-02-09, version 1.2.4*

Pretty much the perfect music player . Very easy to create and manage on the fly playlists of all the tunes stored on your device. Stable and simple to use with a basic but useful feature list - cross fading being a welcome addition . The big question is why isn't the built in iPhone music player as intuitive to use ? - Apple need to step it up a bit , they are at risk of being shown up by these talented small developers !

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2013-12-18, version 1.2.4*

This is the best of the four players I have. Forget the others. You can easily find and add songs, queue them, send them to AirPlay, change the order.... Too many great features I love. Buy it!!!

### 5/5 — Primary Queue Program

*2013-11-23*

Thanks to the latest update, this program is now back to being the primary queue program for my iPod. If Apple never brings back the ability to create playlists from existing playlists, it will be alright because PlayMyQ takes care of this issue and more! And also, when you e-mail support staff, they listen to you and eventually fix the problem. So yeah, give this program a try if you need a quality queue app for your music!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-10-24, version 1.2.3*

I like to see a built in 10 band equalizer please thanks

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2013-10-05, version 1.2.2*

I love this app

### 5/5 — Waited a long time for this!!

*2013-08-08, version 1.2.2*

I work as a singer and this allows me to work out a play list, which can be edited anytime or play a song out of sequence if the mood takes me. Reminds me of what I've already done and AUTO PAUSE between songs if needed!! I have this on both iPad and iPhone and they can link so I can control one from the other. In other words I'm not tied to singing next to the p.a. I have a wireless mic so can go into the crowd (there are always thousands)!

Waited a very very long time for this and if you're a performer like me, just get it!!

### 5/5 — this is exactly what I wanted

*2013-07-19, version 1.2.2*

is the app im looking for
i like

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-08-12, version 1.4.5*

Other free apps have a lot more features like access to Spotify

### 1/5 — No longer saves playlists.

*2020-02-29, version 1.4.5*

I haven’t used this app for awhile and I had a rude surprise the other day after putting together a 3 hour playlist I saved it and it disappeared. Very disappointing and could have been disastrous if I had needed the playlist right away fortunately I can go back to using iTunes (groan)

Thought I would update my previous review. I'm been using this app for 4 years and haven't found a better one yet. I wish there was a version for OSX. I get tired of the tedious hoops iTunes puts you through to make a flexible playlist.

This app is great for putting together Tango dance parties and the ability of others to request tunes is very cool for casual parties. Being able to save playlists is also great for putting together more formal events. Would recommend this app to anyone who has a large collection that they want to share with others. Worth every penny for the iPad version and the iPod version is free. How can you go wrong.

### 1/5 — Won't stay connected

*2016-11-04, version 1.4.1*

If you leave the app will not be connected when you go back and will not reconnect, which defeats the whole point.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2015-04-10, version 1.3*

It says I have no songs and I have songs on my iPad. And then it sits there 'spinning' (looking for music?). Deleting!

### 1/5 — Crashes and freezes

*2014-11-10, version 1.2.4*

NO SUPPORT FROM DEVELOPER AND THEY'VE MY COIN.. for the issues I'm having don't waste your money. It's a great app when it works! Which is for a few minutes and then crashes and freezes all the time. I have erased the iPad several times and loaded library from new etc. etc. and have tried continually to contact the developer and no responses.. Dodgy App

### 1/5 — Bummer!

*2013-07-12, version 1.2.2*

The idea is great, but it doesn't work and turns out to be REALLY IRRITATING!!!

Most times it pauses the current song whenever another song is added to the queue!!! That drives us mad during parties!
Another terrible bug is that it keeps "refreshing itunes library" or something all the time, and while it is doing it, it is unresponsive.
And an "extra feature" is that it can't play a song from itunes match unless you downloaded it first. It will not download it for you. You have to do it manually. So, you have to know in advance which songs your guests will pick!

Waste of time and money!

### 1/5 — Doesn't support iTunes Match

*2013-03-26, version 1.2.2*

Absolutely a waste of money. Needs iTunes Match support

### 1/5 — Not working

*2013-01-14, version 1.2.1*

Unable to remotely control either iPhone 4S or iPad3 with this app. Have tried the guest app also. Player works independently on each, but fails to connect to each other on either Bluetooth or wifi ?
Shame !

### 1/5 — Ugliest music app I've ever seen

*2013-01-11, version 1.2.1*

I was hoping for something that works well and looks good. This app works okay, but looks awful.

### 1/5 — don't waste your $$$

*2012-12-14, version 1.2.1*

Not worth 2.99, not worth 1.99, not worth .99 Positive comments are probably hype. 'nuff said.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Definitely recommended

*2021-12-31, version 1.4.5*

Sometimes a little glitchy and crashes my phone, but overall a fantastic app. Really really useful for organising a playlist and changing it on the fly. I use it for backing tracks for live singing.

### 5/5 — Used it for years - still the best music player

*2020-01-28, version 1.4.5*

Amazing for cross fading tracks far superior to any native iPhone play out.... although dark mode in a future update would be most welcome devs ;)

Thank you for all that you do for this great app

### 5/5 — Wow...

*2019-08-18*

Great player, I have it connected to my Pioneer SX-1050, 120 watts per channel. My iPad is the player and I control it from my iPhone. Very slick, easy set up with cross fade which it really cool. Well worth the small price. Excellent product!

### 5/5 — Musictastic

*2018-03-09, version 1.4.3*

I love this app it’s a perfect companion for the Apple Watch allowing you to play your favourite tracks on your phone.

Big thank you to the developer for keeping this wonderful app updated.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2016-08-28*

Great app that's very easy to use. With Apple's fairly new "up next" feature added to the music app, this app serves slightly less of a purpose, but it is still great nonetheless. You can create, save, and customize music queues with songs directly from your library. The UI is simple, effective, AND WORKING. The app creators continue to update the app from time to time to keep it useful and functioning well. Overall a great app if you're looking for a way to queue up and play music smoothly.

### 5/5 — At last! A queue player that gets it right!

*2016-02-20*

You'd think that it wouldn't be hard to design a music player with a queue that works, wouldn't you?
Then you'd be wrong. I tried several from the App Store (after realizing that the Apple-supplied Music app was bloated and useless). Couldn't find one that worked right. Like, you'd set up a queue, start playing it, then try to add something to the queue and it'd get played immediately, rather than at the end.
This one works.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2015-04-19, version 1.3*

I liked it better before. It used to never lock up.but now once in awhile even when I'm plugged in it won't let me go to the add song screen. The good thing about is it doesn't stop the song that's currently playing. This makes it impossible to play requests on the fly. Please fix

### 5/5 — Intuitive

*2015-03-14, version 1.3*

Very nice intuitive controls and lots of easy to use features. Looking for an app that I could add and manage songs on the fly. Definitely worth the price.

### 5/5 — Finally found the perfect music player

*2015-02-05, version 1.3*

After wasting so much money on other apps. I found this app almost by accident. It has a very elegant UI that works with the existing iOS 8 theme and most importantly full screen view works in portrait and landscape format. Finally it has the two quintessential features most important in a music app, a properly functioning cross fade and a volume normalizer to keep the volume between songs in check. I highly recommend this app for both normal use and even for the in car use many of us do...

### 5/5 — How All Music Apps Should Be!!!

*2015-01-13*

I'm a professional DJ and as a result, I provide music for many wedding ceremonies and receptions. Oftentimes, the ceremonies are in remote locations and require me to be completely portable. With this app installed on my iPad, I have a perfect app for seamlessly managing my music without having to use a laptop. It offers many more features than the iTunes app and the controls are easy to use. The most useful feature to me is the ability to see your entire playlist on one screen and be able to swap songs around as well as save the newly created list. In my opinion, this is how all music apps should be. My wish list: 1. Allow the users to either save the playlist to iTunes so that we can use in other media ( Burn to back up CD or thumb drive). 2. if wish #1 isn't feasable, how about allowing the user to email playlists? Thank you for a great app!!!

UPDATE: The export feature has been added. AWESOME!!! A great app and a phenomenal development team. Thank you for listening. :-)
