Play/Pause is a private tracker for everything you watch — movies, TV shows, and individual episodes. Log what you've seen, pick up the next unwatched episode, rate what you loved, and keep your watchlists organized in a clean, fast app. FEATURES • Continue Watching — the next aired, unwatched episode for every show you follow, with one-tap watched logging. • Movies & TV — search a rich catalog and open detailed pages with cast, seasons, and streaming availability. • Watch history — log watches and rewatches, edit dates, and review your timeline. • Ratings — rate on a 0–5 scale with half points; your ratings stay private to your account. • Personal & shared watchlists — keep your own, or share a list with up to five people to plan what to watch together. • Stats — totals for movies, episodes, shows started and completed, and estimated watch time. • Calendar — an upcoming-episodes schedule for the shows you track. • TV Time import — bring your watched history, ratings, and lists over from a TV Time export. Open something you liked, scroll past the cast, and see what people who watched it went on to watch — one tap instead of starting a new search. Search beyond your lists Searching your Watchlist or your Watching list and not finding what you had in mind? A button carries that search straight to the full catalogue, already set to movies or TV to match where you started. Archive or delete a watchlist Set a watchlist aside without losing it, and find it again under Library. Archiving is yours alone — archive a shared list and everyone else keeps theirs. Lists you no longer want can be deleted outright. A new look The app icon has been redrawn, flatter and cleaner. ### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-01 Shows no longer disappear from Watching A series you were part-way through could stop appearing in the Watching tab. It usually happened to a show you had caught up on, which then stayed hidden even after new episodes aired. Your watch history was never affected. Any show this happened to comes back on its own the first time you open this update. Faster loading for large libraries Watching and Watchlist now gather season information in a fraction of the requests they needed before. Big libraries load noticeably faster, and shows are far less likely to turn up with missing episode counts or incomplete progress. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-29 Paused Shows Taking a break from a series? Pause it and it moves out of your Watching list and Watchlist until you're ready. Find paused shows any time under Library. Where you're watching Pick the streaming service and its logo appears on your Watching and Watchlist rows, so you always know where to go. Shared watchlists share the choice. Filter Watching by list The Watching tab can now show a single watchlist instead of everything at once. Manage your Personal Watchlist Rename it, clear it, or turn it into a shared watchlist you can invite people to. Choose how Next Episode works If you watch shows out of order, choose whether to continue from the episode after the one you watched most recently, or always go back to the earliest episode you've missed. Set it in Settings. Smaller improvements Improved navigation and performance.
