My was just a news feed of a drug overdose, COVID cases and more depressing news. They need to work on delivering great things to do not a rehash of news. There is no map feature, and it’s impossible to set a custom location on your post. How can I show exactly where niche things are happening if I can only geotag a general location. How are users going to find what they want where they want if the only personalization option is hashtags, and not even a map. Being able to select the cities or area you would like to look at is probably the most important feature the app lacks for its age. I have no interest in a metro area near me. However I would love to be able to look into other areas of smaller or even medium sized hole in the wall towns. The app is dependent on the people using it accordingly; I think if it could somehow allow a user to control the feeds content to be the niche you’re wanting to explore. It can improve. Ie: removing the unwanted folks. This can be good for photographers, explorers. People moving to the area. I think it’s odd it’s number 11 on the App Store for social networking with a lot of room for adjustments. Hopefully the features are coming. Instead, not only are most of them not occurring at the time, there’s no option to filter by how recently posts were made. Literally everything I saw on my map already ended. To top it off, the location map is absurd. The map itself is too greyed out to read it properly while over-accentuating the bubbles/events, and the icing on the cake is the location issues. Bubbles for events will appear 10 or 30 miles away from where the events are actually happening. Events in Disney are showing up in Maitland (not even the same city), and after u click on one, good luck getting sent back to the map you were previously viewing because now you’re sometimes transferred to the other side of the state for some reason. Also, your dirty already-eaten tray of food from a random Wendy’s, your rtrip to the doctor’s office, or the view from your plane as you’re going somewhere else are not events. The app seems almost like a test run then a fully developed program. App doesn’t load while I am on Wi-Fi, doesn’t load up my area instead shows me things to do 30 miles away. That’s fine, but I’d like to start in my general vicinity, less than 20 miles from my house. The AI can’t give me any suggestions even the most basic things like finding a Mediterranean restaurant near me. The main feed seems more like ads of restaurant employees posting things for their restaurants. Overall, really disappointing I expected more. ### 1/5 — Nothing like the ads *2023-07-24* I thought it was gonna be an app that gave me a lot of ideas of where I could go and hang out with my friends. Instead it was just people posting low quality videos of there kids or something random like a Facebook grandma. I thought it was a place for people to find cool local spots to go out as a family. It was just a bunch of posts about robberies and news about local police department funding. Just very weird end nothing like what was advertised. ### 1/5 — Not as advertised *2023-02-25* Saw on tik tok as a fun and easy way to find cool things to do while traveling. There’s not much of that. A few pixelated videos of sights and a crap load of ads. On top of that the app format is slow, glitchy, and overall bad quality. I had to scroll for a while before I found a single interesting location/event, meanwhile the ad made it seem like the entire purpose was to find things to do and places to go. My first content shown was from January of 2022! Everything else was everything from local news, world news, cat videos, a sugardaddy seeking out women, skits, etc. Don’t waste your time. Turns out that this is just a knock off instagram with a map feature that doesn’t work, I couldn’t have deleted this app any faster. Extremely disappointed to find people are using it like Nextdoor or Facebook to post opinions, politics, police activity, random things like birds using their feeder or a car they liked that drove by?? Didn’t find any cool spots on there & couldn’t even make it my actual location, it kept jumping to stuff in CA & NV. No map feature that I can see. It’s definitely way more broad than local and not very user-friendly. No content that interest me.
