## What is Playshelf?

Playshelf is your personal video game library, tracker, and discovery companion.

BUILD YOUR SHELF
Log, rate, and rank every game you've played. Your shelf becomes a living record of your gaming life — and the fuel for smarter recommendations.

AI SUGGESTIONS, TUNED TO YOU
Get personalized game picks based on what you actually love. Enjoy a free daily pick, regenerate for fresh ideas, fine-tune suggestions by telling us what hit and what missed, or seed recommendations from your own tags.

SPEEDSHELF TRIVIA
Fast-paced trivia about the games on your shelf. Unlimited play, every day. Clear 1000+ points on a game to prove you really know it.

DISCOVER TOGETHER
Follow friends, share ratings and reviews, and see what your circle is playing. Trending shows what the community is hyped about right now, enriched with AI insights.

ORGANIZE YOUR WAY
Custom tags with AI-assisted suggestions keep even the biggest library tidy.

Playshelf is free to use. Extra AI suggestions are supported by short rewarded ads.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-04

A maintenance update.

When a rewarded video has no ad to show, the app now stops waiting quickly instead of leaving you on a spinner. Your AI suggestion or Speedshelf replay goes ahead either way.

Also includes behind-the-scenes groundwork for ad privacy controls for players in Europe and the UK.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-03

A maintenance update.

The optional rewarded videos behind extra AI suggestions and Speedshelf replays were pointing at a misconfigured ad setup and could never play. That is fixed, so they work as intended when they are offered.

The in-app privacy policy also now shows the correct contact address.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-02

Trending now on Search — the Search tab opens with the games people are playing right now, so you can start from something worth playing instead of a blank field. Tap any cover to jump straight to it.

Speedshelf gets a daily free round. Play a 30-second trivia round on any game in your library each day, and watch a short video if you want another go.

Plus a refreshed look at what Playshelf does on the App Store.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-26
