Is the app down for maintenance? ### 3/5 — Still Needs Improvement *2026-03-17* To keep it short and sweet, it’s very easy to record your videos, but retrieving them as of late has been an issue. Any video recorded is stuck at “0% Uploading” making reviewing your games impossible. Furthermore, the editing of the videos should be reworked, it’s too difficult to do and very tedious only being able to clip tiny pieces. ### 2/5 — Update update update *2026-01-25* Anytime I try to open the app it asks for an update. This is insane. What are you guys doing? Updates every two weeks?! It's annoying. ### 3/5 — It has too many steps to make a recording *2025-06-06* Good when it works and records, you scan, start recording session, then it asks again to start a session with or without highlights then asks again for the final time and sometimes you forget that you’re supposed to ‘start’ 3 times to record. Also why is the video playback SO CUMBERSOME. I get its free but man oh man this UI is badly designed. ### 1/5 — Unprofessional *2023-04-29* With the amount of money and time and effort that is invested in these sports, and the seriousness that comes along with the possibility of getting hand selected by scout, you would think they would develop an app that would be more professional than this. There is absolutely potential here, but I can’t even reserve a time for a future date to be notified when the game is streamed. I put one filter on, “baseball/softball”, and only one game pops up. Are you kidding me? There should be rosters of games popping up and I should be able to select which one i want to be notified of when it goes live. The future of entertainment is right here. Your future Hall of Famer’s are on these fields playing right now. The billions of dollars that is put into sports and entertainment, instead of academics and economics, is mind-boggling. However, looking at this app, it does not reflect that. Perhaps if this app was paid for like GameChanger, it would be better. For now it seems like a ghost town. A handful of reviews from 1 to 5 years ago, and the layout of an application that is destined for success in the right hands. Invest in this app, update and consider the future of these kids lives are possibly up in the air based on missed opportunities that this app failed to capture. ### 1/5 — It’s the worst *2022-08-03, version 6.7.17* I’m under 13 and it won’t even let me do my parents activation thing I don’t get it ### 1/5 — Bad for college tennis *2022-05-21* Every college tennis stream I’ve tuned into has had bad video and audio quality, it’s frankly upsetting that they’re an ITA/NCAA exclusive partner. Even the TennisONE app had to send a notification explaining that the poor quality wasn’t because of them. ### 1/5 — Save your money and frustration *2022-03-19* If I could give a zero I would. Absolutely unwatchable. I have the fastest xfinity they offer. I swear playsight is using dial up still. Most frustrating game I ever attempted to watch ### 1/5 — Absolutely horrible, several years in a row. *2022-02-25* My son is a college baseball player and every year they start off in Myrtle Beach, at the Cal Ripken facilities… These are serviced by Playsite. Every year I get more and more aggravated by stuttering and stopped video, connection issues ( on their end, I am on a gigabit connection here and everything else is fine) They charge $$20 for a week long pass of virtually unwatchable video. There is a link to contact them if you have issues, but My son is now a Senior, and they still have not answered me back from customer service from the last few seasons, all of which were just as bad… I think we would have a better and more timely idea about the game if they took individual photographs and mailed them individually via the post office… Wait is there a way to give ZERO stars? ### 1/5 — Never works & needs overhaul *2022-01-24* This app needs a serious overhaul. I’m not sure how it could be so behind the times. 99% of scores are not accurate and the clock time never changes. I have contacted several times and they’ve never done a thing about it. Plus, takes your money only to say there are no live games. Not sure, but I’m convinced that throwing my money out the window would have been less painful than the 35 minutes I spent trying to get it to work. But until they deal with service streaming service issues, it’s a waste of any money. Certain fields (ie: Mansfield, Tx) require subscriptions. Purchased a week and can barely tell what’s going on with all the freezing of the video. *Note watching on wired internet, not wireless* ### 1/5 — On demand is a joke *2021-05-30, version 6.6.7* How does it work? How about not at all. ### 1/5 — Unbelievably difficult, all the way around *2021-04-19* First of all, it was nearly impossible to create an account. It wouldn’t let me type in a password, and I tried two different devices. I finally typed a password in a different app, copied and pasted it in to get it to work. It kept selecting the current date for a birthdate and wouldn’t let me change it—I kept having to get the device to select the date and then cut it, but still took several minutes of selecting and cutting and trying just enter a simple date before I got it to work. Once you get in the app, it won’t let you scroll and select the appropriate field, you just have to look through all of the videos on the selected dates. I purchased three, and It seems to have five pending charges—I purchased two with what appeared to be no issues, then a third said there was a problem, to try again in a few minutes. I did, and it appeared to purchase correctly but I’m guessing that’s the fourth charge. No idea why the fifth charge. I’m hoping the extra charge s will drop off. I’ve been looking for over 20 minutes and can’t find a way to download video to my device—because it’s unbelievably slow to just watch so I was hoping that might ultimately be faster. I shudder to think how difficult it’s likely to be if you want to create a video clip or do anything else based on experiences thus far. The new camera feature makes it really easy to flip back and forth between angles. Need the ability to trim down full length games to be easier. ### 5/5 — PlaySight Sports Video *2018-03-01* My favorite features on the PlaySight app are the ability to create highlight clips, and the ability to voice-over/draw over videos. The app allows me to share the highlights and edited clips out in text or on social media. I also really like the zoom and frame by frame features on the video. Having all of my videos and edited clips in one place makes it really easy to stay organized as well. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2018-01-24* As an athlete I love to look at my video after sessions and check out my stats. I’m able to do this easily on the go and I’m also able to creat clips, highlighting specific things from practice sessions and matches. Having video, stats, and editing tools at my finger tips has allowed me to really focus on certain aspects of my game for development. They go in to cut and edit all their highlights and great shots.
