And it still asks for more money for even basic functionality. “This functionality is available with an upgrade to power users only”. I pay for most of my apps, and most offer far more functionality for free than this app developer is getting away with at paid level. And this with all the sponsorships. As if that’s not bad enough, there is no way to do certain basic things, or if it’s there, it’s hidden somewhere. How to search based on location? It’s such a basic thing. It is a fantastic program and made even better now that it is an app for your phone.. Our community has almost 3500 registered users and many many sessions posted every day. Playtime scheduler has always been interested in responsive to comments and suggestions to improve the app and continues to make improvements every year. This is a problem with all new posters because they don’t know the feature is available and we are having 3.0 players entering higher games. The choice is only available if you post your game go out and then go back to edit the parameters. Also I would recommend when guests are placed on games u make it necessary for the lister to add the name and rating and state it’s not to be used for the same guest regularly. Some players got bye twice before others selected and one person got bye 2 games in a row. Please fix. **Developer response:** Our app doesn't create brackets, so your group must have been using a different app for that. We only handle the scheduling. ### 1/5 — No family sharing option *2025-03-12* This app works great but if you’re interested in the paid features, be aware that Apple family sharing is NOT supported. No mention of this prior to purchase and feels like it should be called out before hitting the buy button. Support team response was, “we don’t do family sharing” that’s it. Pretty lame response but there you go. **Developer response:** Our app doesn't support Apple family sharing because each individual user needs their own account on the app in order to access play sessions, messaging, calendars, and more. Each account represents one individual player. The free version of our app still allows individuals the opportunity to sign up for games and schedule sessions. We appreciate your feedback. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — LUV THIS APP!!! *2026-08-20* I am new (relatively speaking) to the sport & play at our local rec center. However, pickleball there is restricted, only allowing play during scheduled times & only on certain days. It is very limiting (& exceptionally frustrating!) to say the least - especially as I am seeking to improve my game as rapidly as I can. Through this app I have been able to find other pickleballers (that share my general rating) & local matches, outside of the confines of the rec center. It alerts me if/when new matches are added & I can then add my name if I’m available to play. This has been the best thing that’s happened for me since discovering a sport that I enjoy so much (well, ok… I’m a bit obsessed with playing!). I tell every new pickleballer I meet about the app. It’s been a game changer (literally!!!) & am so happy I found it. ### 5/5 — Great App To Use! *2026-08-20* This app does all the basic necessities that you need finding players or checking open play courts and even does round robin for a session that you create.
