But, honestly the main reasons I spent over a 1000 (thousand) hours developing this app was to first - provide an option for individuals who are looking for purpose in this life and second - provide a fun and effective way to learn basic PLC programming. When you first install the app, There are numerous "tips" yellow dialog boxes displayed to help guide a new user to develop their first program and reference to a YouTube "Quick Start" video to actually see how to use the basic functions. David ### 5/5 — Great app for learning ladder logic *2025-11-25, version 6.9* After working with PLCs for years but only with the exterior instruments and switches feeding the inputs and the relays and things fed by the outputs, I really wanted to have more insight into what the PLC is actually doing. This app is great and I really like the exercises it gives you to have a go at. Once learning the symbols and the language of the plc, it’s a lot like having imaginary relays on a screen doing exactly what physical relays would be doing in a traditional panel.
