### 4/5 — Review + suggested improvements!

*2020-10-12, version 2.5.1*

Good over all, but could have these things improved.

Need to be able to close the app, and reopen to the state you closed it, or swapped apps.

Need to be able to view the challenges in program mode so you can refer back to the requirements as you build your program.

Needs some feedback to let you know when to raise your finger to change a bit or input number.

Also on iPhone XS, some text of the instructions is cut off by the speaker in the middle of the screen.

Otherwise quite handy!

### 5/5 — INTERESTING

### 4/5 — Adicionar idioma

*2019-11-16, version 2.5.1*

La app es bastante buena, sería genial que incorporaran en idioma español, la app incrementaría su popularidad y alcance para uso didáctico.
Saludos.

### 5/5 — Awesome Learning Tool

*2019-08-26, version 2.3*

App was a great help in understanding the interaction between inputs, program and outputs, especially the normally closed input instructions.

I also appreciated seeing the seal-in circuit in the first rung.

The simulator in this app is great, even though it isn’t large. Still, no other simulator allows me to program rungs as fast or as easy.

I love the save feature. It allows me to build on my program over a couple of days.

### 5/5 — Really cool app

*2019-08-16, version 2.2*

A really cool app to do basic PLC programming. Recommended to anyone that’s wants to learn or just to have fun with.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2019-07-21, version 2.0*

Thank You for this intuitive app. I was wondering how PLC works and now I got a basic idea. Thank You again.

### 5/5 — What a great app!

*2019-06-25, version 2.0*

David I would first like to say that I don’t rate apps ever, but as a novice electrician, this helped immensely. I have since moved beyond this, but I use it to teach my children who are learning as well. It is true that this is the “basic” foundation for learning bigger. You made it with just enough information to not overwhelm the beginner. Not very many iOS simulators for this. For that I thank you for the time you put into it as well as the Christian verses. It’s nice to see people sticking to their beliefs. God bless!!

### 5/5 — Review-

*2019-03-24, version 2.0*

Like the app - haven’t even opened it yet, the reviews are the best - I would’ve paid for this app just for the entertainment along side the learning

### 5/5 — Perfect app to understand the function of plc

*2019-03-20, version 2.0*

Perfect app to understand the function of plc. Very good job

Suggestion

Please put more explanation regarding the different sw to simulate plc or a part to explain how it possible at home to create PLC.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-10-02, version 1.7*

Unfortunately, iOS12 broke it. 😵

**All fixed, love it for what it is.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This isn’t an app

*2022-08-31, version 3.1*

This “app” is basically just 3 pages with information on them.

### 1/5 — Not a trainer, just a waste of time.

*2019-09-14, version 2.3*

Don’t waist your time if you any experience with plc’s. You already know more than this app does.

### 1/5 — Mal

*2019-04-04, version 2.0*

La aplicación aparece boca abajo . No vale

### 1/5 — It’s not a simulator.

*2018-11-27, version 1.7*

Kinda feel like this would be better as a short pdf file. It’s just a few pages of very basic PLC concepts and as others have noted, no it does not really do anything and does not allow for any creativity or ability to edit ... anything. I assume it’s someone’s first stab at making an app, which is great for them but don’t call it a simulator. If you are looking for an actual simulator, basic but functional, try LadderTouch. It actually allows some functionality.

Hey the dude from this wrote me the following:

"It seems inappropriate to bash someone’s app just to SELL yours. This app is small, basic and FUNCTIONAL. It is intended for anyone who is relatively new to the world of PLCs and wants to use a simple small simulator to program and learn about “Start/Stop”, “Timer” and “Counter” logic. It even includes 9 projects for the user to build. Did I mention that this app is totally FREE and WITHOUT advertisements. I hope you make lots of money on your LadderTouch app, David"

I wrote back to calm down I’m just a guy learning PLC programming basically. Just a rando who doesn’t know much. But... I stand by my assessment. Cool personal project but not a really good app sorry but it isn’t

Just another update: ya boy developer looking crazy. Someone should reign him in probably. Or my friend maybe your should reign yourself in. You look really unprofessional.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2018-09-23, version 1.6*

App crashes when opening. Unusable....

### 1/5 — False advertisement

*2018-01-29, version 1.0*

This app is a waste of time, it does not actually simulate anything, there is also some christian proselytizing included which is not appreciated. For the author of this app; lying is a sin too, according to your god.

### 3/5 — Not useful for what I need

*2024-01-14, version 4.1*

I was looking for something I could use for a class that is compatible with my MacBook but this app is flawed. It doesn't really do what I need it to do first off, which is whatever. Secondly, its really glitchy and totally goes cold after a little bit and I can't tell what i'm doing wrong. I gave it a couple stars because I do like the witnessing piece, when you click the cross...what a cool way to reach people to let them know about the savior of us all and that we are forgiven and loved.

### 3/5 — Good app for kids

*2021-07-22, version 3.1*

This is an excellent app for kids. I will be downloading it onto my kids iPads as well as sending the link to my friends and family for their kids. I think it’s a great Intro to logic.
Sorry to those that were expecting more. I do agree there is room for improvement. Especially in the features and descriptions of actions but overall it is excellent for children. Giving a 3star in hopes the developer continues to work on this app to improve its features. I know it’s meant to be a start up app but I feel like it can be something way better. Kuddos anyways.

### 4/5 — Great for PLC beginners

*2024-03-08, version 4.1*

Very nice app for beginners. The UI can be more interactive but the contents are great.

### 4/5 — Great app buuuuut…

*2021-11-05, version 3.1*

I like my plc apps without jesus.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-10, version 4.4*

Thank you for putting out a nice app for PLC newbies. It’s great to see someone spend the time to plan out, design, and build this sim to let anyone have it for free and no ads! That first review from 7 years ago was just some retired PLC tech that never reached their goals in this world. I would love to know how to make apps and do some free sims on electronics and programming myself. Thank you again for the sim!

### 5/5 — Exactly what it says on the tin

*2025-11-05, version 4.4*

I downloaded this to play around with because I needed a simple example to show people how ladder works, now I recommend it to anyone who is interested in PLCs. Great little app, thanks for building and sharing it!

### 5/5 — Great intro to PLC world

*2025-10-05, version 4.4*

Some basic info to explain what we are looking at and a really nice SIM section to do few (9) basic assignments. Solutions are provided for comparison. Great way to get introduced to ladder logic. Would like to see a section that explains how the particular components work. Thank you for making this!!!

### 5/5 — Helps my students

*2025-06-08, version 4.4*

I been using this app to help my students understand better when their at home .

### 5/5 — PLC trainer sun

*2023-05-13, version 3.1*

Make it for Google play store also Godbless

### 5/5 — Practica para empezar

*2022-12-13, version 3.1*

Buena aplicación, para empezar si no tienes conocimientos previos y quieres empezar a asimilar conceptos.

### 5/5 — Excelente

*2022-01-23, version 3.1*

Me encanto unos de los mejores simuladores súper bien expiada 👍🏻y un solo detalle muy pequeño que tenga traducido español

### 5/5 — Excellent PLC Trainer program

*2021-07-04, version 2.7*

I am giving 5 stars due to the fact that developer response is immediate when questions are emailed. And for me as a PLC Novice, it’s easy to understand and use.

### 5/5 — CTD bug

*2020-09-03, version 2.5.1*

Great app and learning tool!

I think the CTD function is bugged. As long as the accumulation value is 0 or less it sends a DN signal. This makes challenge #5 unable to complete.

Also challenge #5 shows CTD preset -1 in the answer when the instruction asks to press PB01 twice to turn off the light. Both resets in the answer are Examine off functions which will reset the counters indefinitely.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Tool For Training

*2020-06-19*

Well worth the development time to make and I must send my thanks to the dev. This will teach you the basics.
