### 5/5 — Best Noninvasive Weather

*2025-10-28*

The developer is, simply put, a genius of untold proportion in that he has effortlessly solved the conundrum of using weather in a location without asking for your location data. Not only that, but it is a lifesaver for planning literally anything in advance. There is a reason Wu holds the weather justly, so look no further than this app to be satisfied forever.

### 5/5 — Great app with fabulous voiceover accessibility

*2025-09-16*

I recently discovered this app, if you are a voiceover user looking for a fantastic weather app this will tick all the boxes. Great attention seems to have been paid to accessibility in general, And the developer should be applauded. I really enjoy the fabulous descriptions of the weather images!

### 5/5 — Accessible as ever

*2025-09-15*

The Fall/iOS 26 update is accessible as ever :-) I'm super impressed with the efforts the developer puts into keeping this app accessible, which can be seen by the new support for the accessibility nutrition label literally ticks all of the boxes. The dedication to accessibility is second to none but in particular the Stella work that goes into both VoiceOver and Low Vision support is amazing and continues to be so with the advent of Liquid Glass. I am really happy to see endless mode which allows me to track the weather automatically for the current day, when I don't have a particular date I'm looking at in the Future. The developer needs to be commended for this fabulous work and I encourage you to take a look, you won't be disappointed

**Developer response:** I can't tell you how much this feedback means to me. Thank you for reaching out with VoiceOver suggestions and please don't hesitate to do so again in the future!

### 5/5 — Personal & Fun

*2025-06-05*

I love the app! It has a lot of personality which is hard to find in other apps these days when they all look the same! You can see the developer put a lot of work to make the interface nice and it has great accessibility as well! Nice work!

**Developer response:** Thank you for this review! The goal was to make something whimsical but at the same time useful. I’ve worked very hard on my accessibility support so that means a lot to me.

### 5/5 — Unique Outstanding Design App!

*2024-11-21*

Every once in awhile as an ole man I fine something that is hard to put into words what I want to express or maybe translate. I find myself sitting back and going WOW! Let me tell you for me at my ole age to find this something that sets me back is hard to believe ( just ask my wife ) but this app has done that. To say that this is a Unique Outstanding Design App that is clearly a 5 Star ⭐️ App kind of says it all Folks! The Developer has put a great amount of Time Hard Work Sweat and yea Love into the Coding of this software. The price is right that even an ole man can afford. ( and now Days that’s saying something ) if my friends you are taking the time to read this then for an ole man Download this app now today! You won’t be disappointed or sorry! ( really ) it’s time for this ole man to pick up His Cane 🦯 and move on so they say. So as I try to get these Bones up and moving ( which isn’t easy) I want to Thank the Developer for putting out this Unique Outstanding Design App for me to use and go Wow! So Mr. Developer I Tip my Hat 🎩 to you and say Thanks “you truly have a 5 Star ⭐️ app one that I will use every day and one that will truly make me go WOW!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lengthy review. Honestly it made my day.

### 5/5 — Fun Easy Everday App

*2024-06-27*

Love this app for its details ( temp highs, lows, hourly, humidity, wind, sunset and more!!! It was made for a "Special Day" if it's going to rain.
I use it everyday!!!
Living in So Cal where it barely rains, I use the app on the daily!
You know when your getting dressed and trying to figure out what to wear? It lays out the entire day!
You just have your location set in the app click, it automatically has the current date and boom all info is there! Love the customisations definitely worth it for the pro version! The artwork is awesome and so unique you can find just which picture you like for each type of weather! Fun Frogs are the BEST!!! Makes me smile everytime! Just get it already😂💖😍🌧️🌈

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review and recommendation!

### 2/5 — Inconvenience

*2024-05-23*

The app is so praised, I though it was more convenient. Ability to track only one date one city at time feels like waste of money.

There are favorites, yes, but you have to click several times to change one city to another even with favorites.

I regret paying for it. I wish I could refund.

**Developer response:** Thank you for giving the app a try. I tried to highlight in the app’s description that it’s for tracking a special day at a location of your choice. Focusing on one day at a time is a way that I’ve been able to keep the cost of the app lower than many other weather apps. Once your day has passed it’s a single tap gesture to pick one of your saved favorites to track next.

### 5/5 — very interesting app

*2024-03-17*

this is a very interesting app and I have enjoyed it very much.

I had some questions concerning it and I decided why not let’s just write the developer and within hours he had responded back to my questions and my feedback as well.

I am not one who likes to pay for apps via subscriptions, but for the low cost of this one and the value that it brings I have paid for it and will continue to do so

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for these kind words. I had been toying with the idea of adding more flexibility with how favorites are handled and your feedback inspired me to do so. Thank you again!

### 5/5 — Always accessible now favourites :-)

*2024-03-16*

I am a VoiceOver user and I've always really enjoyed this app, but I've always thought the favourite section was a bit confusing, this is no longer the case. Fantastic Work loving the app

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for reaching out to me. I'm thrilled that you're happy with the VoiceOver changes that I made for you. You helped me make the app better for all VoiceOver users and I appreciate it.

### 3/5 — So-so UI

*2024-03-02*

The UI looks quite cartoosh-ish and old school. Slabs of blue everywhere

**Developer response:** Thank you for trying the app. The cartoon images were a style choice to make something fun while at the same time useful. They are in the App Store screenshots to illustrate that. If you don't like them they can be disabled completely.

Blue is just a default color and it could be changed to a color you don't find offensive.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 5.25 — 2026-04-04

# Location Queue

A requested feature of a location queue has been implemented. You can now have the app automatically switch to different day and/or location when the currently tracked day expires. Have several special days coming up? Enter them once and they’ll be tracked in order.

* Find it under Settings or the menu when you're tracking the weather.
* You can add as many entries to the queue as you want.
* Changing the day you're currently tracking the weather for might invalidate some existing queue entries.

# Moon Events

Moon events now have a dedicated section like sun events do.

# Accessibility

* UV Index and Wind charts had legend symbols that didn’t scale when the text size increased. Thanks Rob!
* When dates were displayed as “3/6”, VoiceOver would read that as “three slash six”. Now it will read the full date.
* The UI for picking an alternate app icon now better adjusts to larger text sizes.

# Bug Fixes

* Some remote locations would show up in the list of results but would fail to retrieve the forecast. The failure was addressed.
* Fixed a scenario where if the app was immediately launched at boot time the forecast attempt would fail and wouldn’t allow retries until a minute later.
* Some lock screen widgets wouldn’t show today’s current temperature when they had room to.
* The temperature gauge shown when you’re tracking today would always be red when using Kelvin for your unit of measurement. My apologies to the Kelvin fans.
* Changed some of the small widgets to show bigger text when they have room to.
* Fixed a scenario where the medium sized version of the Basic widget would use very small text when it didn’t have to.

# Misc

* Added a new privacy setting to disable debug logging and remove the log file.
* Rearranged the medium sized version of the Basic widget when there’s no precipitation so that a larger font can be used.
* Added a medium sized version of the Just Temperatures widget.

### 5.24 — 2026-02-05

# Reset To Today

* Added a new entry in the Menu that lets you quickly change the tracked day to today.

# Bug Fixes

* In fullscreen iPad mode the description of upcoming changes for tomorrow could bleed into the main forecast data in some scenarios.

### 5.23 — 2026-01-31

# Overnight Low

The overnight low is now shown as part of the main forecast. It's handy to see what the low temperature can drop to overnight. The range is 7PM on your tracked day to 7AM the following day.

# Bug Fixes

* Some headers in Settings didn't have a header trait for VoiceOver. Thanks for the heads up Hamish!
* Fixed a crash scenario that could happen in an unusual scenario with one of the shortcuts.

### 5.22 — 2026-01-30

# Bug Fixes

* Some of the text that Shortcuts display wasn't translated.
* If VoiceOver verbosity was set to the default of "less verbose" then some of the VoiceOver entries for the "Sun Events" section were incorrect. Thanks for the heads up Hamish!
* The symbols in the temperature chart picker would look incorrect in dark mode.

### 5.21 — 2026-01-26

Happy New Year! It’s time to celebrate with a huge release for Please Don't Rain.

# UI Refresh

The main forecast section has a fresh new look.

* Sharing the main forecast details also makes use of the new design.

# Historical Changes

There is a new section that can appear when today’s weather significantly differs from recorded averages.

* Differences that can be reported are high/low temperature, precipitation, and snowfall.
* This new section will only appear when there is a significant difference.
* You must be tracking today’s weather for this new section to appear.
* More than one historical change can be shown.

# Upcoming Changes

This is a new description that can appear in the main forecast.

* If the high and/or low temperature will have a meaning change on the day following the currently tracked day it will be described.
* This description will only appear if you’re tracking today or a day or two after it.

# Sun Events

This new section shows some of the significant sun events and how long the duration will be until the next one.

Enjoy golden hour fans!

# New Chart

The newest chart added is Cloud Cover By Altitude.

* You can view coverage for high, medium, and low altitude clouds throughout the day.
* Cloud coverage information for the current hour also appears in the main forecast if you’re viewing the hour’s forecast instead of the day’s forecast.

# Quick Temperature Change

I received a request from a user to have a way to quickly toggle back and forth between C and F.

* You can enable this under Settings, App Appearance.
* When enabled this button appears in the toolbar when viewing a forecast.
* This feature is disabled by default.

# Accessibility

* Added a verbosity accessibility setting for more control over how VoiceOver will relay large amounts of information.
* Made the alignment nicer in the Nearby Days section for large text.
* Chart RuleMarks with long text could bleed off the edge of the screen if large text was in use.

# New Languages

Support for some new language has been added.

* English (Canada)
* Dutch

# Optimization

Multiple enhancements to make the app much more efficient with how it handles data. Made the app a little snappier!

# Misc

* Several new widget themes.

# Bug Fixes

* Some weather alert buttons could look odd if the description was long and text sizes were large.
* The RuleMark for the precipitation chart would disappear if you moved your finger past the 11pm entry on the screen.
* The weather image could be too small on iPad in some scenarios.
* The medium sized version of the Basic widget could have text that was too small sometimes.
* Found some more scenarios where -0 degrees could be shown. Made them 0 degrees.
* There was no way to share charts for monthly averages.
* Days with ‘wintry mix’ would get classified as rainy days, which was especially confusing if there was little rain and a lot of snow.

# Version 5.21 Changes

* The Quick Temperature Change button didn’t notify widgets that the unit of measurement had changed so it would take them a while to update to it.
* Bug fix: VoiceOver would be incorrect in the new Sun Events section if the duration was more than an hour and the language was not English (U.S.). Thanks for the heads up Hamish!
* Added some splashes of color around the app…
