Why have this requirement if you can’t deliver on your side to make it happen. Really frustrating. ### 1/5 — How MUCH??!!! *2025-05-21, version 3.0.6* They want me to pay £20 for a jpeg image. Biggest scam ever. Other wise app is fine. ### 1/5 — Stressful!! *2025-04-21* Purchased tickets and as directed had to download the app to claim tickets. I have been able to claim 1 out of 4 tickets the other 3 continue to fail, no explanation given, I have tried a number of times connected to WiFi and to data and still not completed. So the app is now totally useless. So no way to get into the park or rides. Absolute joke of an update. Updated the app again and logged me out again. The app somehow works worse than the website which is deplorable. It’s 2026 get tickets you can put in your phone’s wallet like EVERY OTHER VENUE in Britain. You should also be able to send tickets claimed to others to use on their phone. They should be a difference between claiming and activating your tickets, so you can claim tickets send it to someone and they activate it. ### 1/5 — Great app ruined by stupidity *2025-07-09, version 3.0.8* Good app and works great HOWEVER mandatory to take pictures of yourself and children in order to get your tickets is the craziest and stupidest thing I’ve ever seen for today’s standards. Huge violation of privacy. Other theme parks don’t need this. The app is a huge waste of time, and very buggy. Causes so much more hassle than anywhere else. Will be the last trip to Blackpool for us, solely due to this app and invasion of privacy. Good riddance Blackpool pleasure Beach! ### 1/5 — Needs lots of work *2025-06-22* App works for tickets but is very poorly written. On opening the app you are presented with a number of options. The name of these options does not sit on the button correctly, instead the two line names overflow the area and is partially hidden on the background. Visited recently and this app came in very hand and was very accurate with the queue times. It was so easy to use this app should’ve been done long ago. The app is fast, efficient and aesthetically pleasing with the new ICON background and photos next to the ride queue times looking great. As a season pass holder, it is so simple to book tickets for the date of visit too and accessing photos on the app is also really easy. The What’s On feature is brilliant at keeping up to date with On-Park entertainment. In terms of improvements, I’d like to a live interactive map similar to Liseberg, Europa Park and other theme park apps. Additionally, seem as though you scan your e-ticket at the ride turnstiles, it noted what rides you’ve done that day. Whilst not necessarily important for myself as a season pass holder but for guests wondering what rides they’ve done it’d be quite a nice feature. Potentially they could add links to PBRs social channels too and the ability to book shows/events that day on the app. Overall, very efficient and easy to use! ### 3/5 — Needs a map! *2023-09-21* The app is okay, nothing amazing but wow could it do with a map! It’s good that season pass holders can book through the app but other than that it feels rather redundant with unreliable queue times and not much else to offer, please update!!!
