Please fix this ### 4/5 — Commercials freeze *2026-08-24, version 2026.16.0* When watching show or movies there’s no problem with freezing but as soon as a commercial comes on it takes at least 5 minutes for it to make it through all of them. I usually have to close the show I’m watching and then hit resume. This happens when on WiFi or cellular network so I guess this is a glitch with the app. ### 3/5 — Memory Leak *2026-08-22, version 2026.16.0* Memory leak is causing battery to deplete much faster. ### 1/5 — Worst Update to an App Ever *2026-08-21, version 2026.16.0* This app was outstanding for many years, but the redesign update completely ruined every single aspect of this app. Now this week they update it once again and somehow made it even worse. I get updates the fix a large number of issues and accidental introducing a few new issues. This isn’t that by any stretch of the imagination being they just keep adding bugs and never fixing any of the previous bugs. I genuinely wish they would bring back the old app and test this version before full release. I had nothing to complain about. I purchased a lifetime plex pass to support the team. Then over the years they started making the UI worse and worse. The app still works great for me, which is why I am giving it 3 stars. But the UI makes no sense. At the same time you might actually enjoy the app. For those of us who have been using Plex prior, this app has become an abysmal experience. Last week I could play videos, but then I could not exit them. This week I can exit videos, but I cannot pause them. And when I say. "I cannot", I mean, the buttons do not exist on the screen. Someone in their product department clearly called the shock to release this redesigned app before it was ready and we are suffering for that decision. I don't know if they believe that they could iterate quickly and fix it before it bothered us too much but reality isn't that convenient. What's craziest is that they'll get something right but then it'll be broken again the next month or week. Half the time only one library will work at a time, log out, log back in the other library will work. then constant playback errors. It's only the iPad app. My smart TV works fine, web browser works fine, friends iPhones work fine.
