There’s a delay when clicking buttons for actions, voices and downloading items. The app also had a lot of variety back then compared to now. There’s an issue where the voices don’t sync with the lines and vice versa plus characters lips end up static. But the special Santa beard is not available, nor is the ability to make beards white, like in the preview. Can you please change it to allow use all the time. Is this just seasonal? And if it is, when will it be available. I have a young special needs boy who loves this app, and also loves all things Santa. He would Love to know when he can use what he sees in the preview for prebuilt characters to build his own. If this is a special section that requires to be purchased, I’d be happy to do so. ### 4/5 — Doesn’t save your progress when purchased *2026-06-11, version 1.43.11* I’m giving it 1 start off because of a SAVING PROGRESS PROBLEM THAT I HAVE LOST WHILE USING THIS APP IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP! It’s fun and great and all the only problem I have and I’m sure others have gone through it or whoever has the same issue will understand me is that there’s no option in restoring your progress because for 1 there should always be a login and sign up option! What kind of app that doesn’t have progressed save under your account! I’ve paid before monthly and now all my progress is gone it doesn’t matter if you delete the app or not. My progress is supposed to be saved! The developer of this app needs to update this ASAP cuz most of the time I’ve spent in making characters are gone and i literally have to start over including my videos! This is ridiculous and it’s very stupid not smart at all. If your going to make an app for people to pay and enjoy it you should have already known and put effort into the app by giving ALL OF US an option to sign up or log in so our progress isn’t ever lost! Weather it’s email, Facebook, Apple, etc. whatever cuz at this point I’m starting to think it’s just fraud I have spent a lot of time with my progress and all of it is gone! Change it now! ASAP! UNTIL FIXED! ### 2/5 — It’s Not That Good 😕😕 *2026-06-09, version 1.43.11* As you saw the title, unfortunately the original Plotagon is not for me. The characters in a scene is limited to have only two, which is difficult because if you wanted to add more characters, you would have to make another scene and that really wastes my time. Another thing that really upsets me is the glitching. It is absolutely horrible, and it really messes up the entire movie or scene considering you have been working on that thing for at least 15 minutes to an hour. But that’s not all, as there is so much scenes, clothing, and voices, most of them you have to pay, and you honestly want to just enjoy your story and add some more scenes to complete it. I first saw this game at 12 years old, and stopped at 15 since how much frustration I had to be dealing with playing this game. I’m going to try out Plotagon Studio, and I’m hoping it can be better than the original. ### 4/5 — Love this app *2026-06-07, version 1.43.11* I love this app but I think it would be nice to add more characters like animals , children and things like that . Plotagon is exactly that kind of app. You can create a wide variety of characters quite easily, even doing a good job of making an avatar of yourself or anyone else. There are stock characters, too, so you don't have to dive right in to building a character. Once you have your characters, you type a simple script with two-person dialogue. Then press play and your movie is on the screen; the camera cuts like you'd expect in a TV show, and the voices generated by the app are pretty decent. You can add expressions and moods to the characters, sound effects, and even music, all in app. You can create lengthy movies in several locations by adding a new location in the script. The app comes with a large variety of free locations and characters (some of which you have to download, but they're still free), and you can buy some additional ones, but what it comes with is plenty to get started. When you're done making your movie, the app lets you upload the movie to Plotagon's site to share. This is the only shortcoming in the app, and why I've given it only four stars. I'd really love to be able to render the movie to my camera roll and then take it into other iOS apps (like iMovie, Pinnacle Studio, or even filtering apps like Super8) to edit and enhance. I wrote to the developers and they said that's something they're considering adding, so if they do, I'll bump my rating up to five stars. It's really a fun and easy way to make great dialogue scenes.
