It’s better than the original in my honest opinion. In this one, you can actually have more characters in a scene, and as I mentioned about the original in my last review that it’s limited by having only two characters in a scene which really is frustrating, but in this one you can actually have more characters. You even get to have more voices there for the characters, and they actually a lot better than the original Plotagon. But aside from that, it’s really the same thing again, and it really is kind of boring because the scenes once again mostly have to be paid, and I don’t want to really waste my money on that. It’s also frustrating that just like the original, and I forgot to mention that in my last review that the characters can’t move or walk, that if they were to sit on something like a couch or whatever, they can’t stand up or anything, unless if you want it to happen, you have to add another scene, which is a big waste of my time and of course you don’t want to add a lot of scenes that are just used for no reason. I might’ve left out some more details, but that’s pretty much what I can write so far. I paid immediately for the pro subscription. It constantly glitches, freezes, and will not allow me to make selections. I have To keep closing and opening, I once deleted out of frustration only to lose 2 hours of work. I completed one 4 minute video in two days that should have taken two hours . I have tried the email with no response, the support option here doesn’t work. How is it this app has a $10 subscription but literally doesn’t work? Have the developers left the building? I paid for the subscription and the app will glitch like never paid but in my apple subscription you can clearly see i am subscribed to the monthly subscription. When creating dialogue most scenes will freeze and characters don’t move, and I was unable to download the video and the watermark would still be in the video after I paid for it to be off. This would be a great app if developers actually fix the app. As a business owner who receives money from customers I don’t think it’s a good idea to fabricate to customers about your services. It’s very embarrassing and you could lose customers. Based on the reviews there seems to be an ongoing problem with in this app, no matter how bad I wish they were capable of providing the service they claim to provide. Restoring purchases don’t work and trying to get it to work properly feels like turning on a tv that’s not plugged in and expecting to watch the show. Oh ya another thing YOU CAN ONLY DO ONE SCENE PER VID, like legit so annoying. You can only make GOOD animations if u have a subscription and it’s like going by memory 8 dollars a week!! Dear developers can we solve these issues asap, 1. Plot freezing midway 2. Can’t export a plot in ( .plot) format 3. Can’t assign a single voice to characters, we need to do it over and over again for each conversation. 4. The lip syncing is terrible with some voices, some it doesn’t even apply, only British, English and Australian voices works better. 5. We want the randomise character creation option back 6. Can we have a desktop version of the new app ( this will be a game changer) Please dear developers, we love this app so much but we can’t produce anything without these fixed. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-11-11* I am on the unlimited paid subscription. The watermark is stuck in my videos after Plotagon advertised no watermarks. It takes 5 minutes real life time for the app to realize you’re pressing a button trying to add scenes. The app would be great if they actually fixed the glitches and add better animations and scenes. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING THIS APP. The reviews are true and I should have listened. But we live and we learn. I will be unsubscribing from this app and with all the new Updated Ai tools I believe there are better options. No silly voices. *2025-09-01, version 1.4.0* I downloaded this app because the original plotagon is now forcing me to watch royal kingdom ads. I used plotagon to make award winning feature films with a variety of characters. Because of the variety, I need voices. Some that don’t sound ‘human’. The original plotagon got this perfectly! It had a variety of human / non human voices. You could even change the tone of the voice! So unfortunate that plotagon studio doesn’t have such voices.
