The first time I waited a couple days and no one showed up. I canceled because no one did and did it myself. The second time I tried to do it again and no one showed up, I waited a WEEK. The third time I ordered it, sun was shining, no rain in the forecast. I messaged customer service and they replied “your provider is having issues with their vehicle and will get it first thing tomorrow morning” you could of told me that before Don’t use this company ### 1/5 — They don’t pay contractors!! *2026-05-24, version 9.8.9* Do not use this company. They are thieves. ### 1/5 — Horrible service *2026-05-21, version 9.8.9* This is the second time we’ve tried to book a service where they’ve left us high and dry. Both times we tried using them because we were sick and couldn’t do the yard work ourselves. The first instance was for leaf removal and the date was pushed back again and again and then snow fell and it was never done. This second time was for a simple one time lawn mowing. Service was assigned and scheduled but didn’t happen. When we complained it was reassigned for two days later but again never happened. Not sure what’s going on with this app but they don’t get the job done. I give up. ### 1/5 — No service *2026-05-20, version 9.8.9* Paid for service at the end of fall for a last mow. Kept getting pushed a month until it snowed. Was told I’ll get a mow at the beginning of the next season. After a month of them lying that it is scheduled and will get done finally had to cancel. Paid in October, never received service by mid next May. Support is text-only, there’s limited access to completed job history, and tracking payments becomes frustrating after doing a larger volume of work. They will tell you a local partner has accepted your job, then…nothing. The service is not cheap and, for what they charge, the poor communication and lack of performance is absolutely inexcusable. Find a local company and go that route. Tried to cancel an order after it was placed, because services were no longer needed and they conveniently sent me down a rabbit hole to request cancellation and only responded after the unnecessary job was completed and wasted my money. And whoever they hired didn’t bother to question the work they were doing as completely unnecessary and just pocketed my money. ### 1/5 — Charging for no shows *2026-03-27, version 9.8.9* I scheduled a job and was told the job would be done in a couple days. Two weeks later, it had been rescheduled 6 times following my notices that no one had showed. Then I got an email the job was completed and I was charged accordingly. When I informed the app no one had showed and the job was not done, they did not refund me but rather stated they would find someone else to do it. Almost two weeks later, still no one has showed and still no refund. I’ve tried chatting and contacting customer service and no one has tried to rectify this. They were pretty quick to resolve any issues I had with a provider not showing up. Then last year toward the end of fall, they just stopped showing up for my recurring job. I tried contacting support and they rescheduled my job and still no one showed up. Now the app is giving me errors when I tried to edit my recurring job. I understand delays are expected with a big storm. But I requested service on Saturday morning for Sunday afternoon. It’s now end of the day Monday and no one came out. I messaged customer service multiple times, had my request sent and accepted by 3 different providers. No communication if they couldn’t get to the job, no eta. Any attempt for resolution was driven by me. If I didn’t reach out I would’ve been in the queue for days with zero communication or status update. Ended up shoveling myself because this was such a pain. If it is busy, whatever estimate you receive is not going to happen. You may wait over 24 to 48 hours past the estimate given regardless of when you place your order. We had an emergency and could not get out of our driveway when the plow was over 12 hours late. We contacted customer service and they told us we will get back with us in 3 hours. No cancelation button as an option. No service support or call. I used to use this company, but now it seems it may just be a shell collecting money without service. In my experience, payments were repeatedly delayed, communication was poor, and I was given inaccurate information about when I would be be paid. When contractors aren’t paid on time, many stop accepting jobs or leave the platform altogether. ### 1/5 — Ignores notes and poor service *2026-07-10, version 9.9.0* I set up a mowing job and made note that my back yard has a 4ft gate. I was contacted to confirm the gate was 4ft. I confirmed and got an affirmative response. Then they send someone out who doesn’t have a mower that fits through a 4ft gate. I contact support and they say they will reassign within the hour. A day later my job still isn’t assigned and I have been waiting for over and hour on hold both on the phone and with live chat waiting to speak to anyone. Would highly recommend anyone who considers this app look elsewhere. ### 1/5 — No liability *2026-07-02, version 9.9.0* This company hires unbelievably novice people to do work for them, and then when something inevitably goes wrong, they’ll take no responsibility and keep you strung along for months. The person they hired girdled / killed my tree and they kicked the can down the road until I finally gave up. Chat “support” is slow at best. You are at the mercy of these providers. ### 1/5 — Horrible Experience *2026-07-02, version 9.9.0* This is unequivocally the most incompetent company I've ever worked with. Here's a quick timeline of my experience in securing a reoccurring lawn mow for an investment property I own: 5/7: Order placed for a reoccurring lawn mow every 10 DAYS. 5/12: Initial mow was completed (they up-charge for the first mow calling it a maintenance mow) 5/13-5/29: No mow completed, no communication, and I needed to follow up with them multiple times to get them to mow again. 5/30: Mow was finally completed (well beyond the 10-day window and only because of my follow up efforts to initiate it). 5/30 - 7/2: NO MOW COMPLETED, NO COMMUNICATION FROM PLOWZ AND MOWZ. EVENTUALLY JUST CANCELLING THE SERVICE AFTER 30+ DAYS OF NOT HAVING THE LAWN MOWED. This was such a horrible experience. There's no phone number to reach anyone. I left several voicemails without any response. The only communication method is with an AI bot on the app, then when you finally get a human, they are useless. This was two months of incessant follow up efforts with no meaningful feedback. "We're continuing to try and secure a provider." That's all I got in return. I signed up for a 10-day reoccurring mow under the assumption they can provide the service as they outlined. The reality it was two months of dealing with an AI bot and no one who could actually help me or better yet, just tell me you cannot provide the service instead of leading me on for two months. Last thing, and this really encompasses what this company stands for, they offered me a 20% off the mow once they secure a provider. They were OVERDUE 20 DAYS on they service they said they can do, and that was there response. This company is terrible and I strongly encourage anyone who is considering their services to look elsewhere. 1 star is doing them a favor. ### 1/5 — SCAMMERS- don’t use them *2026-06-29, version 9.9.0* Took my money on day one without an issue. Claimed they assigned the job and date. Date came and went, reached out to support 4 times. It’s just an AI chat bot that does nothing but say somebody will call me, but never does. Sends verification codes to confirm, but then says they are wrong codes. Had to go to credit card company to refund the money. Not a single human to talk to. Took my money just fine though. There are other apps on the App Store, I recommend any of them besides these clowns. ### 1/5 — Bad company DO NOT HIRE! *2026-06-03, version 9.8.9* This company does not pay their employees which are the providers . They charge me for a mowing job but never paid the provider who did the mowing.
