## What is PLU Codes Database?

This app is both a reference and a learning tool for those who need know PLU codes for produce. This includes checkout and manager staff at for supermarkets and grocery stores.

Totally free!! No in-app purchases.

LOOKUP BY NAME - Type the name or partial name of a product and see all the matches.

LOOKUP BY CODE - Type the PLU Code and get information on the associated product.

CODE QUIZ - Given a picture of a product type in the correct code.

PICTURE QUIZ - Given a PLU Code and six pictures of products you must tap the product associated with the code.

There are 1425 codes in the database but photographs and quizzes are restricted to the 100 most common.

Very useful because its hard to remember so many PLU for produce and I need them to do my produce order efficiently. It would be awesome if you could somehow add barcodes for the numbers so I could just scan them off my phone. That and being able to just save a list of all the ones I use would be a great addition, I would 100% pay money for it because it would make my job so much easier. Thanks! 👍

I needed to know what a fruit was by the PLU that I have and this app doesn’t give that so it’s useless to me and I don’t think it does what it represents itself to do. Uninstalling now.

Doesn’t really work, when I take the quiz none of the buttons work. Plus there are constant ads which are too annoying to be worth putting up with...

I asked for barcodes to download because I am a leading cashier but this only has a few plu codes. At our company it’s counted against us for entering a simple plu code! I thought I was getting barcodes for produce such as cucumbers, jumbo yellow onions, jumbo purple onions, jumbo white onions, green onions, Fuji apples, granny apples, and the list goes on! This app is useless for me!

I wish the quiz had a skip option. I was given a list of codes and half of the items in the quiz are irrelevant to me but you have to just keep putting in the wrong code three times get to the best one. Another option would be to make it customizable to the codes you actually need to study. I think it’s great someone came up with this idea, it just needs some fine tuning!

Of the 3 apps I checked out, this one had the best graphics in terms of looking up PLU codes.     However, the persistent pop ups are annoying to the point of making me decide not to use it.  Every time you look up a PLU, you have to clear a time delayed pop up.  Ugh!

My wife is a new cashier and has to memorize all the PLU codes. This provides a fun way to challenge herself and her colleagues. The app frame itself is rough and hopefully the developer can spend some time polishing it. Very nice app overall.

YAY there is an app to help!! Was not trained AT ALL on produce codes?!? some have stickers, some don't. Love the layout of this app and the quizzes to help me learn these codes. Great app idea!
