I feel tricked as we do not have the option to try Plumb's beforehand; so just got it trusting "it's popularity". I tried to unsubscribe immediately as soon as I saw it was not what I expected, but couldn't. The company does NOT give the option. So, now I'm stuck having to pay almost 80 dollars/month FOR A WHOLE YEAR!! I am forced to have a product that is not worth it (missing proper tools for daily vets). I reference this everyday and it’s WELL worth the annual subscription. Thank you so much for compiling all the useful drug info in one place with clear headings and easy access/searching! I recommend this app to all new vets I meet - it’s a must have! ### 5/5 — Excellent app one drawback *2022-10-26, version 2022.10.1* I am a frequent user of this app in my daily practice but I find there is one major drawback in that in order to use this app you have to have a Wi-Fi connection to login every time. In my practice this is particularly challenging since we do not have any Wi-Fi reception in our pharmacy. I imagine this could also be a challenge for people who work in a mobile clinic. ### 5/5 — Pennington Vet *2022-09-21, version 2022.9.1* We found this app to be very handy, however, when our credit card was hacked and needed to be replaced I was unable to provide the new card number. The app (including access to account settings) is no longer available. I have called the contact number and left at least five messages that have never been returned. I agree with most of the reviews on ease of use and I’m not convinced busy practicing veterinarians had input on the update. While I was so excited about having a calculator and drug interactions, the execution was poor. I consider myself very tech savvy but cannot even figure out how to easily pull up my notes. I wish they just kept the old version and improved it, hoping they take all of our input into consideration. THIS UPGRADE IS A COMPLETE FAIL FOR THE POCKET EDITION. *2021-06-25, version 2021.6.1* I used to love this app now I can’t see most of the page. Touch pad(typing pad) does not go down when searching covering most of the page. I carry this in my pocket all day. I don’t want anything bigger. Hope things improve. Okay so it will not work on a pocket device. An iPod is essentially a small phone without phone capabilities so I am assuming the same overplayed screen will appear if I try to use my iPhone. Plumbs handbook was a monster to carry around. I have come to expect this from Plumb’s- every time they come out with an update on how easy and efficient a new version is, it makes everything worse. ### 1/5 — New update *2022-07-05, version 2022.7.0* The new update made it so app does not work. Please fix ### 1/5 — New version is terrible *2021-06-18, version 2021.6.1* The old app worked nicely with minimal problems. This new app is not as easy to use. The new version takes away bolded information and is not very eye friendly. The font is small, harder to scroll through pertinent information. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-06-08, version 2021.6.1* I have used the Plumbs app every day as a 4th years student, rotating intern, specialty intern, and now during my residency. Like the last major update, this is a huge step in the wrong direction. This new version is clunky, slow, and makes it harder to find the information that I need. I don’t understand the impetus to update, since the previous versions worked very well. I would strongly urge the development team to go back to the previous version, which was more streamlined and well organized. I don’t see any need for the medication guide in an app, as that is the sort of information better suited for the web-based version. The new monograph is at best the same as the previous version, but the formatting of the font and color makes it less user friendly. ### 2/5 — Impossible to get an answer from Support *2025-03-30, version 2025.3.0* The app is good, but I have been trying to get an answer from the support center since january. ### 2/5 — Plumb Pro *2024-09-15, version 2024.9.1* This is fantastic and I’m enjoying it tremendously. Love that vet students get use it for free, and definitely think I’ll subscribe after school. Only complaint is that I wish I could highlight sentences in the monographs like I can in the physical copy of plumbs.
