## What is Plural Log?

PluralLog is a private, offline-first journal and system management app built for plural systems and those who experience dissociative identity.

Track who's fronting, manage detailed member profiles, keep a shared journal, run polls, and visualize mood trends — all stored on your device, encrypted, with no account required.

When you're ready to share, PluralLog's optional federation lets you connect to a community relay server of your choosing and selectively share with trusted people using the PluralLog Friend companion app. Every piece of data is encrypted before it leaves your device. The server never sees your plaintext.

Features:
• Member profiles with pronouns, roles, custom fields, and profile images
• Front tracking with co-fronts, timeline view, and switch notes
• Journal with emotion tags, author attribution, and markdown support
• Polls for system decisions
• Mood and activity analytics
• Granular sharing permissions per friend
• Instant revocation — keys are re-generated, old access is gone
• Biometric app lock
• Dark theme, calm design — trauma-informed throughout

PluralLog is made by and for plural systems. We avoid diagnostic framing, and assumptions about your structure. Just a tool that works the way you do - with the privacy you deserce.

Federation is completely optional. The app works fully offline, forever, without it.

### 4/5 — Friends function!

*2026-08-10, version 2.0.0*

Good app, I would love to see a friend’s function where our friends can be added and see whos in front, it really helps us and our friends and partner! I would love to see one!

### 4/5 — Add Friends

*2026-08-04, version 2.0.0*

Please add a companion app or a friends thingy in the app for the people in my circle can see who’s fronting and see information about my alters🫶🏼

### 5/5 — great for our brain!

*2026-07-28, version 2.0.0*

for us, plurallog is easier to use than any other system app weve tried in the past. its really easy to log switches and chat, and we have been loving the poll feature! we ESPECIALLY love that all info is stored locally on our device, theres no cloud sharing, and no account, since many of us get paranoid about data breaches. this saves a lot of anxiety! we follow the development on tumblr and know there are some planned fixes coming eventually, but i personally would like to echo that id like co-fronting stats to be fixed. theres rarely a single headmate fronting, but only the main fronter gets the front stats rather than the main and additional co-fronters. additionally, giving headspaces hex colour picking (like what system members have) would be awesome! with all that being said, this is still the best system tracking app available to me, and we all recommend that other systems give this a try!!

### 4/5 — Most helpful simplyplural alternative we’ve found

*2026-07-20, version 2.0.0*

This app is great and we’ll probably stick with it. I think some features would be great to add, like the ability to rearrange custom fields, selecting specific time periods for the insights page, and adding total fronting time to the insights page.

### 4/5 — pretty cool. functional

*2026-07-19, version 2.0.0*

the app is pretty easy to use. it's annoying having to search up hex codes for colors. and i wish there were more options for the emotions. but other than that i think it's a pretty thorough app to be honest. i also really like the insights feature

### 5/5 — Amazing project

*2026-07-18, version 2.0.0*

Our system loves this app. We’ve been using it daily for months, it really helps us with dissociation, keeping track of events, conversing freely and more. Highly recommended.

### 4/5 — only one problem for me

*2026-07-16, version 2.0.0*

its awesome, rly easy to get used to imo. but the descriptions are hard to view, since they are shown as short while viewing a headmates profile (or whatever it call it.) for me, that’s the only thing i’d like changed. i am very happy about everything else,i got comfortable on the app quickly!!! :D

### 1/5 — Least Favorite App for DID

*2026-07-15, version 2.0.0*

This is my least favorite out of the DID apps I’ve tried but I’ve only tried 4. Personally I do not like that it is offline first and federation is really confusing. Really liking Inner House the most so far. Antar is cool too.

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2026-07-10, version 2.0.0*

Our phone is a super anceint hand me down iphone, so it physically can't update beyond IOS 15. We were SO relieved to find an app that's actually compatible with out phone and didn't cost money

The app itself is so great. We really enjoy the insight feature, and although a couple things we had to figure out, (it took embarrassingly long to figure out how to log co-fronts lol) once we knew how to use everything it was perfect!!

There's not much profile customization, but to us that's a good thing since most of our system (besides a couple alters) don't care to make things neat and tidy n perfect. So we like it personally

We also love that it works offline. I know a lot of other apps do too, but it's good for us since this app ACTUALLY works in the first place and there's tons of times were offline

Our only real complaint would maybe have a color slider rather than hex codes for the profile colors, but that feature is so minor and kinda insignificant that it dosent matter THAT much to us.

10/10!!!!‼️‼️‼️✅✅✅✅✅✅love it‼️💪

### 5/5 — better than simplyplural

*2026-07-07, version 2.0.0*

as a collective, we all love this app. I genuinely believe that it’s better than sp AND octocon. The way it is set out is simple and accessible even to people new to the app. I love the headspaces feature too.

the only thing I find a bit annoying is the fact that co-fronts aren’t counted in the insights, and you have to re-select it if you switch the main front.
