Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to have the map layers section pop up every time you open the map view but it’s extremely annoying, trying to fix something that ain’t broken

For months now I can’t seem to get live updates for the buses. I am unable to get live tracking and location to know how late the bus will be

The app is very good. I have never experienced any major troubles or issues with it other than sometimes the buses are 5 minutes later than they actually are. The 42A for example is usually 2-5 minutes late but the app says it’s on time. Overall, the app is very easy to access and quick if you need a bus to get around.

It works well and is easy to use if you want to know the bus times. However, sometimes the buses aren’t on time and it doesn’t say if it is or not.

So basically ive had this app for a good while now, doing what it needs to do. However recently, everytime im showing my pass with the QR code, im also paying for a ticket too. So im wasting money. Could this be fixed asap? Possibly turning off NFC whenever the apps in use? 

Should be a simple fix really and youve not yet fixed it, not very good developers 👍🏻

It’s actually quite a useful application. But the recent updates have meant that all the bus stops are active no matter how far you zoom out so unfortunately if you try to find where your bus is you get 1 million bus stops all over the map which means you can’t see anything. Ideally it needs to have a toggle for the bus stops. Other than that it’s not bad.

The lines for the bus routes are all over the map and hard to see where the bus actually travels. Needs a bug fix as it crashes all the time. Also does the wrong times but then again the buses are always late so could be that but it does tell me what bus is actually coming and I can see the bus moving and coming closer. Luckily I know my area

I’ve had this app before to use mainly as a bud tracker and route finder. I have bought tickets on here once or twice but find it frustrating that I can only buy day riders on here £4.70 when I only need a return for £3.40. It may only be a £1.30 saving but over a week or a month that soon adds up. 
Can city bus please add more tickets ?

Edit - Dropped review to 2 stars as the Apple Watch app is pointless. Can’t even have you ticket on it. So can’t leave iphone at home. 

Can’t add a bus ticket to apple wallet so if battery on phone goes won’t be able to use ticket and get home etc Wallet allows travel passes to show for several hours after battery is dead and allows contactless smooth usage ie with a express travel card pass set in settings/wallet you don’t have to open an app or double click any iphone buttons, you just hold the iphone or Apple Watch near the travel terminal and it automatically reads it. The card/travel pass can be added to express travel in settings/wallet. Adding bus ticket to wallet would make life easier. Shame it will never happen. Hence the 3 star review.

An absolutely brilliant app. I know the times and can track buses live what else do you need! It even uses a map to tell you which bus stop to walk to and how to get there. I’ve been in places I have no idea where and this app has always gotten me home safe!

Used the older app for a few years and when I switched over to this one I have had no problems and I can track my bus a lot easier. UI was a little tricky to get the hang of.

Hi,

I really like this app, it is sleeker and easy to use. READ THIS IF YOU CAN’T SEE ANY BUSES: You have to use the bus button in the bottom left on the explore section and favourite the buses you want to see by clicking the star next to them, now you will only see the buses you need. Well done guys, much better than the last one!

This app is very useful as I use it every day when commuting to school. However, it would be useful if there could be an option to add a widget to my Home Screen for a certain bus and quickly glance at it to see quick details like how long until it is due to come and which bus it is. But all in all, very useful!
