### 3/5 — Room for Improvement

*2026-07-14, version 1.0.1*

The study hall content is relevant to the actual test. However, the information is presented in a way that does not keep the user engaged and interested. Its rather blah

### 2/5 — Slow and awkward

*2026-02-01, version 1.0*

I wanted to study while commuting, but this app is pretty useless. Awkward and extremely slow so I stick with the website.

### 1/5 — Can’t use Google Sign in

*2025-11-05, version 1.0*

My PMI account/membership was setup through my Google sign in. I bought the Study Hall on my desktop and figures it would be good to have the companion app to go along with it and do quizzes on the go.

But, when I tried to sign in and did the authentication, I received a “Access blocked: PMI’s request does not comply with Google’s policies” error. So the app is useless to my.

Back to Pocket Prep I go!

### 1/5 — Cannot access via Google account

*2025-10-26, version 1.0*

I registered my PMI account with my Google account and cannot log in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's security policies. This renders the app useless and I cannot study via my phone.

### 1/5 — Cannot connect

*2025-10-05, version 1.0*

Iphone 14 pro, ios 26. Can not connect with google account but browser on web.

### 1/5 — Google Login not working

*2025-09-19, version 1.0*

I tried to login with Google account, but it failed.
The error code 403: disallowed_useragent

### 1/5 — PMI Is A Joke

*2025-08-27, version 1.0*

What everybody else has been saying for years in the reviews yet PMI has clearly made no effort to correct. WHAT IS UP WITH THE JAPANESE I CANT TURN OFFFF!!!!!!!! This app is hairbrained garbage. PMI as an organization doesn’t practice what they preach, I’m concerned the certification I’ve spent so much time and money on is going to soon be worthless because the organization that provides it is clearly incompetent.

### 1/5 — What is this?

*2025-08-10, version 1.0*

Downloaded the app to use the Study Hall subscription I paid for. Logged in and it opened my phone’s browser and then…nothing. White page stuck on loading.

If you’re not going to support this app, take it down from the App Store. lol. I don’t think the developers are following their own PMBOK. Jesus

### 1/5 — Unable to login due to unsecure browser error from Gmail

*2025-07-26, version 1.0*

Same issue as a year ago :/

### 2/5 — Developers, Do Better!

*2025-07-12, version 1.0*

This app won’t allow you to use your google account to login in.
This is the developer message you should read up on in order to implement this app in a more secure manner: Error 403: disallowed_useragent

You’ll need to migrate to a more secure alternative:

Switch to use browser-based OAuth.
Migrate your desktop app to a Progressive Web App.

### 1/5 — Wish it would work

*2025-06-04, version 1.0*

If you use your Google account to log into Study Hall, don’t bother downloading this app. You will get the error code, “Error 403: disallowed_useragent” if you try. There is no workaround, the app just won’t work for Google logins. This has been a known issue for months at the very least. I really wish the developer would do something about it.

### 1/5 — Don’t download. It lacks many safety features.

*2025-05-28, version 1.0*

This is the error you get when you try to log in to your account. PMI’s app does not comply with Google’s baseline safety features. Below is what Google says about the app.

“This request does not comply with Google’s ”Use secure browsers” policy. If pmi.org has a website, you can open a web browser and try signing in from there. If you are attempting to access a wireless network, please follow these instructions.
If you’re seeing this error message in pmi.org’s app, you can contact the developer to let them know their app must comply with Google’s ”Use secure browsers” policy.

If you are a developer of pmi.org, see error details.
Error 403: disallowed_useragent”

### 2/5 — sync problem

*2025-05-25, version 1.0*

I always lose my practice history when I login again…poor performance, not recommend

### 3/5 — Google login fix

*2025-05-13, version 1.0*

The app has a very weird login error. If you have signed in through the Google account feature, an error would show up if you tried this with the SH app. I managed to resolve this by contacting PMI Helpline and do a password reset. This enabled me to login through the ‘username’ route instead of the Login with Google. Hope this helps!

### 1/5 — Worthless App

*2025-05-10, version 1.0*

If you have an Apple device or created your account with a Google SSO it’s worthless. Will not let you sign in. Apparently it’s a known issue and PMI needs a new project manager to fix it. Ironic.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — So buggy

*2026-07-28, version 1.0.2*

Really wanted to use this app but the UX is beyond frustrating. Why do we need to be redirected to a web browser to log in every time? And then redirected back. And why does that “redirection” not work half the time? Adding to this confusion, however they have their login set up doesn’t automatically trigger password fills/generation and the mess of trying to do so just had me accidentally resetting my password. Such an awful experience from an organization that should be able to do better.

### 1/5 — No languages

*2026-05-11, version 1.0.1*

Deberían avisar antes de vendernos el servicio, que solo está habilitado en inglés

### 1/5 — Vaporware

*2026-04-20, version 1.0*

Another confirmation that PMI is simply a cash grab. This app does not allow you to use PMI’s Google account login. When I contacted PMI’s support chat service I was told to use Android. Worthless.

### 1/5 — unable to login via google

*2026-03-24, version 1.0*

gives an error message that pmi.org does not comply with google’s sign in security when logging in using google account.

### 1/5 — Login issue

*2026-02-02, version 1.0*

There is an issue with gmail login user and even trying with password and passkey. It doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Needs a project manager

*2026-01-20, version 1.0*

Doesn’t work. Can’t login, tried multiple ways.

### 1/5 — Useless app if you use a Google account

*2025-12-25, version 1.0*

Keep receiving error that PMI Study Hall does not use secure servers so the Google SSO does not work and you cannot log in in the app.

### 1/5 — Nothing but a blank screen

*2025-12-22, version 1.0*

There isn’t anything on the menu besides a blank screen that says nothing available.

### 1/5 — GOOGLE SSO is a No Go

*2025-11-12, version 1.0*

The biggest complaint as you will see for this app is that the Google SSO does not work as the PMI app does not meet the requirements to log in. Yes you can access the Study Hall on a computer via a browser however that is obviously not on the go friendly. I reached out to PMI customer service to get help but they say it is NOT recommended to use their own app as it’s outdated and the only way to use the study hall is via web browser. Haven’t tried it yet on my phone but I doubt it will be smooth. So if you want PMP study on the go, don’t plan on direct with PMI.

### 1/5 — Embarrassingly bad for a “professional”. organization

*2025-11-06, version 1.0*

PMI study hall is shockingly bad: it’s slow, buggy and feels unfinished. It’s embarrassing that an organization which claims to uphold professional standards would release and charge for such poorly made app. PMI should be ashamed of collecting premium fees for an app that performs like beta test. Until they fix their app, I strongly recommend anyone to avoid spending their money for this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — PMI Study Hall

*2026-08-07, version 1.0.2*

I am only about 40% completed with the course that I am taking to prepare for my PMP exam this month. So far, this app and the course are really helping close the gaps that I previously had. I would recommend this for anyone trying to brush up, learn, or prepare for the PMP exam or for your career.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for PMP exam prep

*2025-06-19, version 1.0*

Everything works for studying the PMP exam.

### 5/5 — bad reviews outdated

the app works just fine and is exactly what you’d expect from an app version of the mobile site

### 5/5 — Handy

*2025-05-14, version 1.0*

The app seems much easier to use than the web version.

### 5/5 — Alexander

It works as expected, just like it does on the official website.

### 5/5 — Works great for me

*2025-04-13, version 1.0*

I don’t get the low score. This app works great for me, it’s been really helpful.
Editing to add - passed my PMP AT/AT/AT, this was a critical resource

### 5/5 — Works great for me

*2025-02-06, version 1.0*

I don’t get the low score. This app works great for me, it’s been really helpful

### 5/5 — Best App

*2025-01-25, version 1.0*

It helps me a lot to prepare for passing PMP exam

### 5/5 — Exactly like the online study hall

*2025-01-11, version 1.0*

It’s the same study hall as the one on the homepage. But easier to enter as you don’t have to log in and so on.

### 5/5 — Indispensable

*2024-07-30, version 1.0*

This really helped me prep to pass the exam. I used it when I didn’t have time for a practice exam, plus I took the practice exams on the app a couple of times. The questions in this study guide were closer to the actual exam question than anything else I used.
