## What is Pneumatic Cylinder Force Calc?

Specifying a pneumatic cylinder and not sure if the bore gives enough force for your fixture? Enter air pressure and bore diameter to get extend and retract force with friction losses — or enter your target force and let the app find the right bore size.

Two calculation modes: Force from Bore (enter bore, get force) and Bore from Force (enter target force, get required bore). Shows extend force, retract force, air consumption per cycle, and nearest standard bore size. Accounts for rod diameter and adjustable friction losses.
