I haven’t figured it out yet. sadly, when I need it most it always seems to need a charge and so to have another device on top of my earbuds, cell phone, Mac NEO, iPad and MacBook Pro. I just don’t need the hassle. reminds me of my Apple Watch that I got rid of because I really can’t afford the time to be charging this every day. also, maybe they should’ve waited a little longer before releasing it because it might just be me, but it seems like there’s a lot of updates in the software. ### 3/5 — Very nice, but expensive! *2026-08-31* The little device works very well and really does a good job in taking notes however the yearly subscription is heavily overpriced. One of my priorities of this purchase was Buying one of them almost 2 weeks before my best friend birthday and give it to him on that day. Three weeks later, but I did find out that I’m getting a message. Do I confirm my order? WTH I’m being how ignorant or not possible are those guys who are selling it. All capital letters I wrote email to them and I’m still waiting response to my question why my order wasn’t processed right away even though it was already charged and I received it more than a month later. So my advice for you is if you really wanna get this product buy it through someone who actually give a damn about their customers. I wish I would have had this great tool when I was still practicing law! I love the fact that the AI is very intuitive. I’ve invested in, BUT… *2026-08-14, version 0.6.67* I’ve invested in a few A.I. products and this has to be a top 3. I talk out loud during my studies and it is so amazing to have pocket summarize everything and organize it. The chat is also amazing because it bases it’s answers on all the information I give it. There are a few things keeping it from a 5. I can export the pdf summaries, but it can’t export the chats in pdf. There is also a glitch when you use chat on Windows, the chat box screen almost disappears and I’m unable to see the entire message unless I copy & paste somewhere, which is annoying (although accessing the website is fine on ipad, but I want to access on my big screens for windows). They desperately need an iPad version of the app that takes up the entire screen instead of just 1/4 of it. If they update all of these, I will give this a 5 because this is an incredible device. I first saw it advertised on Youtube and this was a rare one for me to actually watch and then buy. ### 5/5 — We’re in learning mode *2026-08-14, version 0.6.67* So far so good. Just received today. Have not had any of the crashes previously reported by users. Seamless so far. Also want to point out that yes, pocket does disclose there is a free version (thinking mode) and a paid version (pro mode) you can try pro mode free for 30 days. What they don’t make clear enough is that even after paying for the hardware and the app, you cannot freely create and use your own custom templates unless you subscribe to the paid plan. This is particularly frustrating because the standard AI-generated summaries are simply not good enough for my professional use. The app actually lets you create a custom template — but then prevents you from using it unless you pay for a subscription. That feels deliberately misleading. I already paid for the recorder. I already paid for the app. I have included transcription hours. Yet something as basic as telling the AI how I want my own summaries structured is locked behind another paywall. In my opinion, this completely undermines one of the main reasons to buy this product. The marketing creates the impression that you are buying a useful AI recorder without the need for an ongoing subscription, while important functionality is restricted unless you keep paying. Be aware of this before buying. If I had understood these limitations beforehand, I would not have purchased Pocket. Please email community@heypocket.com so we can assist under our standard support policy. — Victor | Pocket Support ### 1/5 — Extremely disappointed by new update, would not recommend this product to any professional *2026-08-13, version 0.6.66* I’ve been a loyal Pocket customer for a while now, and when I first discovered the product I was genuinely so excited about it that I onboarded my entire team and have recommended it to practically everyone I know. I believed in the product that much. I also literally JUST upgraded my subscription, so to say I’m extremely furious and disappointed right now would be an understatement. I accidentally deleted the app last night from my phone and quickly redownloaded it. I logged back in and my Source tab is now completely gone. Every single recording in my library now only shows the summary, to-dos, and mind map. I cannot access the actual transcripts for my recordings anywhere. PLEASE tell me this is a bug. Because if reinstalling the app somehow means I have lost access to every transcript from every conversation I have recorded on my Pocket device, that is an absolutely catastrophic problem. The transcripts are not some random extra feature to me, they are one of the MAIN reasons I use Pocket. I use this device everyday for important business conversations where sometimes the exact wording of what was said actually matters. Very recently, I had a business situation come up where I needed to go back through a previous Pocket recording and find exactly what had been said. Being able to pull up that transcript helped us resolve the situation and literally saved us money. THAT is why I use this product. That is why I trusted Pocket with important conversations in the first place. An AI summary is useful, but it is NOT a replacement for a transcript. A summary is Pocket’s interpretation of what was important. The transcript is the actual record of what was said. Those are not remotely the same thing. And I really think Pocket needs to understand how serious this is. If you are building a product that people are supposed to trust with business meetings, agreements, interviews, personal conversations, and other important information, then customers need to know that the SOURCE MATERIAL is going to remain accessible. You cannot ask people to build years of important recordings inside your product and then have the actual transcripts seemingly disappear after something as basic as deleting and reinstalling the app. That will destroy people’s trust in this product. Full stop. What makes this even more frustrating is that I JUST upgraded my subscription. I paid more because I use Pocket constantly and saw real value in it, and now I am sitting here wondering whether every transcript I have relied on is suddenly gone. If removing the Source tab was an intentional change, or if these transcripts are somehow not preserved when the app is reinstalled, I will absolutely be cancelling my subscription and finding the best alternative product I can. I cannot continue recording important conversations into a service if I have no confidence that I will actually be able to retrieve the full conversation later. And the fact that this update can be made on a whim is extremely concerning and feels like a violation. I genuinely hope to God this is just a major bug and that all of my transcripts are still safely stored somewhere. Because for customers who actually rely on Pocket as a record of important conversations, losing access to these transcripts COMPLETELY undermines the reason for using the product in the first place. Please fix this and restore the Source tab. SERIOUSLY, or I bet you will lose a huge portion of your customer base. I had a few good ones, and then made the mistake of trusting it with an important workshop and a few other crucial meetings. The summaries missed huge portions of the meetings, and now I’m left having to manually go back through the transcript and take my own notes again. Also, the customer service is *awful* - like, comically, laughably bad. I don’t even take a notepad or anything. just turn this guy on and it gets everything I need in detail. It also gives me the source recording so I can go back and listen to the entire appointment. Have it on my phone so it records the 5 calls I get a day where i’m also walking those potential clients through the process and schedule times for an estimates. it’s always been super reliable. absolute game changer i love it this thing. ### 5/5 — Very use useful tool *2026-08-28* I use it on daily bases, for my need I am managing with the free subscription and it works very well. This was however satisfactorily resolved with the Pocket support team. I found the support team, extremely responsive, willing to engage, and efficient. I’m getting used to the device, and have the feeling that once I have gotten used to it, it will be an invaluable adjunct to how I manage life, and so far I have no regrets in having invested in the device.
