I need a farming vehicles, which there are none of. There needs to be more vehicles but ones that aren’t meant for a scrap yard or an icecream van… more plants in pots and more crops. Like I said the idea of the game is perfect it just needs more items added. I’d also love it if I were able to enter the buildings that I place so I can decorate the inside. There are a lot of items like beds, dining tables etc but it doesn’t make sense as you can’t actually put them in a building… And something I think would make it easier to play is a search bar for items, I spend most of my time searching for items. I love how you can see your farm in first person and the animals. Two things that could make this game better would be having the ability to create your own characters and having the ability to go into houses. Some bugs; when I try to add land on a blank world it gliches. Also, I don’t see a button for multiplayer. My game center account is logged in. But I stopped playing since I’ve been getting bored and in hopes I can wait out them adding the updates they been promising. Like playing multiplayer, going inside of buildings,and going to war. It would be amazing if that would happen. But it’s been over a year since they last done anything worth waiting. I built worlds expecting something like this would happen. But it seems I just wasted my time. Sorry it seems I’m rushing the developers. And I know it takes awhile to work on something like that. But it’s a matter of time some other game will replace and drag your current audience away from this game. Truly love the ideas of what future you want with this game. Well on the bright side it’s a nice graphic game! But add more updates so you can open doors. I made a beautiful castle but I couldn’t get in it. But a big well done to developers! But why I didn’t make it five star is because you are restricted to your island. Unless you make more. What I mean is that I wish it was more like Minecraft, where you had infinite land to explore. Like, I love how there’s oceans around each island, but maybe beyond the island you can have more land. ( ’◡’ ) Thank you for playing! ### 5/5 — Love it! *2023-11-18* I have been looking for this type of game for forever, and although the learning curve for the materials and movement around the world is a bit steep, once you have it down, you can do practically anything. When I draw backgrounds, I’ll build out the scene in this app before going over it in Procreate with extra shading and details, since the ability to pose and move stuff in 3D is quite nice. I find myself going here when I need to build out an idea since it is more convenient than Minecraft and has a larger variety of materials. Overall, it’s a great game and a useful tool, but with recent updates there has been one off-putting detail that is preventing me from using it more often. I usually start on creative and build my own land masses, but recently I have been building on the same level as the water (causing it to clip in and out) and not on top. Of course this is incredibly annoying when building, so please fix the issue if possible. That being said the other aspects other than the decorations part doesn’t really interest me at all. Could you make an already existing world with different biomes and animals. A bit like Minecraft with creative and survival. Crafting tables beds and fernices. Just redownloaded it to start playing again and it seems so glitchy I can barely play. When I managed to get a world started, the first pieces of placed land are glitchy and half invisible. It appears this issue was reported to the developer in a review almost a year ago, with the developer suggesting to play with lower gameplay quality. Well I’m on the lowest setting and the issue continues, so could you just fix the game instead so we can play it normally? **Developer response:** Hi, that is a different error. ( '◡' ) ### 1/5 — Queer terms censored? *2023-10-11* Was excited to play this game but when naming my world I realized that “Lesbos” was considered “inappropriate”. Upon further experimentation I found that a good few queer terms were flagged as inappropriate language, such as lesbian, gay and queer. I understand the censoring of slurs and even words that include other inappropriate words (sextile is considered inappropriate, presumably because of the first 3 letters) but it’s disappointing to see queer identities considered inappropriate, and follows into the homophobic argument that the mere discussion of queerness is inappropriate. This may seem small to many reading this, but in a world that is becoming increasingly hostile towards queer people it’s disheartening to see a fun game with a “don’t say gay” policy. I hope the devs reconsider. **Developer response:** Hi Amikokitty, we don't don't have any policy like that, we just don't allow terms that can be used in an offensive context. I try to make them sit down, but it just looks like they are glitched through a chair. I don’t like the lack of women either there is just not enough of them. I also recommend a few requests for your following updates. Maybe they can sit down like I mentioned earlier. I also would like that we can do interior design inside the houses. I found it weird that all items were unlocked, all resources read infinity. Dialogue(item manipulation) boxes pop up everywhere you click. Even when you are trying to place an item, so the screen gets full of grey boxes. Offering you to move rotate and scale everything. Even when you really don’t want to. Let me see what I am doing in the screen please. A little too much sandbox for me. I don’t see a goal or purpose other than to place a bunch of sprites. I can select a person to gather wood, but why? And I can add as many people as I want to a map without feeding them or anything? Too much freedom for me, feels like I’m playing windows 98 paint program. Just putting things where they look pretty. Lots and lots of content. But I found no direction or purpose to gameplay with everything unlocked and resources infinite. When try what this game seems to be good at, the screen is covered up by grey boxes everywhere I click. Disappointed with this one. I would suggest unlockable trees of progression. Maybe unlocking new buildings when new resources are acquired. A population number, and limit. Food resource counter. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review, Nigel. The UI, however makes it impossible to enjoy. This is what happens every time I play: build out a surface of grass, rocks, etc. Then I’ll add an object to the surface. After adding it, I’ll attempt to edit the object. But when I try and select the object, it will almost always select the surface the object is on instead. A lot of times I don’t realize it until after I start editing it. Once I realize the mistake I have to undo any changes I did not mean to make on the surface. So it’s this constant workflow of adding, then undoing and undoing, adding then undoing and undoing. This game is literally an experience in 1 step forward 2 steps back. Ironically, this is supposed to be this relaxing zen-like experience. But it’s probably one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I’ve encountered. The devs need to add an option to ‘lock down surfaces only.’ Also even when you ‘lock it down,’ items are still able to be selected and resized and rotated. What’s the point of a ‘lock down’ option then?? The ‘snap’ feature leaves a lot to be desired. Objects will snap to other objects but won’t line up correctly. The same goes for the stack feature. Objects don’t stack right or line up properly. Instead of adding more objects, tweak the interface. It’s absolutely horrible. I have maybe 5-6 worlds started that are pretty much barren bc the UI is just too sensitive to deal with. Very disappointing experience. **Developer response:** You can prevent the tiles from being selected by pressing one of them, then selecting the “Lock all tiles” button. You can also adjust the “Snap size” (item placement) settings via the button in the top right corner during the game. ( ’◡’ ) ### 1/5 — Tutorial??? *2022-04-02* UI wasn’t even slightly clear and no tutorial to speak of. I’d probably enjoy this on PC but about 15 minutes in I’d already lost interest as I’d been given zero direction. A sandbox game isn’t an excuse to simply skip giving the player any instructions or objectives. Was looking forward to this and expected better. **Developer response:** Hi, the game does have a tutorial but you can manually start it by creating a new world and selecting "Pocket Town" as the starter world using the slider. The only clickable things on the main menu are the sign in and an add for their discord server. HOLY GOD- this game is AMAZING! I was really upset (Nad this sounds stupid) but most good world building were on PC. I was sad because all world building games weee all city themed. ( ’◡’ ) ### 5/5 — So relaxing *2024-10-08* I am really loving this. It really helps calm and relax me as well as being an incredible outlet for creativity. I highly recommend! I did notice an update is coming and wanted to add an issue i am having in hopes of it getting fixed: I used the square water tiles with the "concrete" edges. I put 9 together to make a large pool but when i realized the people were not swimming I decided to add the water blocks. I wasn't happy with the way it looked, but was unable to fully remove the water blocks. I was able to remove the land under it, but the water blocks remain. I tried covering it with land, but the people still swim over the parts where the water blocks are. I deleted a ton of work i put in, no big deal and so I'm just going to wait for that to get fixed and then resume creating. It is my favorite game and I always look forward to playing it at the end of the day. Me and my sister will spend part of the day coming up with ideas on what to build and spend part of the night discussing what we made. I love this game so much and the creativity involved with playing it. It also has zero ads, as it is an arcade game, which is an added bonus.
