Pocket Clear itself is free, permanently. Not free for a month. Unlimited transactions, your own categories, the reports and full offline use don't cost anything and won't start to. "First month free" refers to Pro, a separate optional upgrade for extras like syncing across your devices and sharing with a partner. It's a free trial of that upgrade, not of the app. Ignore it entirely and nothing stops working, nothing gets locked, and you're never asked for a card. Sorry that wasn't clearer from the banner alone — that one's on us, and I'll get the wording sorted. Open it from Reports, or straight from your Sunday summary. If you're in Partner Mode you can switch between your spending, your partner's, and both. • The weekly summary works properly now (free) — it used to arrive twice on a Sunday, ignore its own off switch, and tell you how many transactions you'd logged since the day you installed. Now it arrives once, carries the actual figures for the week, and opens the new recap when you tap it. Turning it off in Settings genuinely turns it off. • A partner's budgets show their real names (Pro) — every one of them displayed as "Overall", so several different limits looked like the same row. They now show the category they belong to, even where that category has since been deleted on your phone. • Budgets left behind by a deleted category can finally be removed (Pro) — deleting a category left its budget behind with nowhere to go, since the list only shows budgets for categories that still exist. Settings → Budgets now gathers those up so you can clear them. • Plus the usual round of fixes — quick-add suggestions no longer show two identical chips when they differ only by payment method, the opening-balance field now says where that number actually appears, and newly added features get flagged in the setup guide so they're easier to find. ### 2.06 — 2026-08-25 • Fill in past months for recurring transactions (Pro) — set up an EMI, a rent or a subscription partway through its life and the months before today were simply missing. • Savings goals can move real money (Pro) — pick a payment method when you add a contribution and the amount actually leaves that account; withdraw and it comes back. • A monthly budget can vary by month (Pro) — if December costs more than February, you no longer have to pick one number that covers both. • More to see in Reports — a Spending by category card on Trends, free, for a year you pick or across all time. And tapping a slice now shows that category's total and its share of the period. • Pro follows your account — a subscription bought on your iPhone now unlocks Pro on your Mac, rather than leaving it on the free plan. • Plus the usual repairs — recurring transactions can no longer be created twice after an interrupted launch, the setup guide no longer ticks Cloud Sync before you've turned it on, and a number of smaller corrections across Reports and Savings Goals. ### 2.05 — 2026-08-07 What's New in 2.05 • Pocket Clear on your Lock Screen — today's spending now sits under the clock, in whichever of three shapes fits: a small circle, a wider one with the figure on its own line, or an inline one beside the date. Tap any of them to go straight to Add Expense, so logging something is a tap rather than a hunt for the app icon. • An Add Expense button — on iOS 18 and later, add Pocket Clear to Control Center, or use it to replace the torch or camera button in the corner of your Lock Screen, and jump straight to Add Expense from anywhere. ### 2.04 — 2026-08-05 What's New in 2.03 • Payees (Pro) — track who a transaction was with, not just what it was for. Turn them on in Settings, and a Payee field appears when you add or edit a transaction, suggesting names you've used before. • Search your transactions (free) — find anything in your history from All Transactions by note, category, amount, or payee name. • Paid twice a month? (free) — the new semi-monthly period splits each month on two days you choose, so Home, Reports and your budgets follow your real pay cycle instead of the calendar.
