## What is Pocket Familiar?

Pocket Familiar brings your selected familiar to iPhone, the Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island.

Choose from Little Minotaur, Little Wolf, Little Bear, Little Shadow, Little Clanker, and Little Ice Barbarian. Give your companion a display name and see a clear, factual status display instead of invented emotional telemetry.

Keep a protected offline outbox and use the on-phone controls to choose how your companion is presented. When the optional private desktop connection is configured and available, Pocket Familiar can start and update a Live Activity from observed desktop facts. It can also exchange encrypted companion messages and synchronize the selected name and familiar with that paired desktop.

Pocket Familiar does not create a second assistant or substitute a cloud model for your desktop Companion. If the connection is unavailable, it says so and keeps user-authored messages queued rather than fabricating a reply.
