## What is Pocket Geiger Counter Pro?

(You cannot measure the radiation only by using this application program)

iPhone can be used as a radiation detector, as it is called Geiger counter, by connecting the voice output of the Pocket Geiger Counter with the microphone input.

iPhoneで使用、購入当初安定していたが、その後不安定で計測不能状態です。

2011年から、毎朝20分程度測定してログを残して来たのですが、ここ最近数分で異常終了するようになりました。特にios12になってからは一画面から二画面でほぼ確実に落ちるようになりログも全く保存されなくなってしまいました。既に3~4台壊れて買いたして来たので、また一台購入して試して見ましたが同様の状態でした。>_<

Type2はもうサポートしないんですねぇ！では捨てることにします。

他の線量計を持っていないので精度について比較は出来ませんが、とても簡単に測れていいですね。
定期的に測りデータを共有して行きたいと思います。

iPhone 4sとType4の組み合わせで使っています。
HPにはiPhone 5sは未対応と書いてありますが、測定数値はiPhone 4sと変わりないみたいですね。

久しぶりにtype4を使おうとしたらノイズがひどく、時間のカウントも動かない現象が。中を開け、アースになっているアルミホイルをよく押し付けたらいいと聞き、直りました。
アプリの方は専門家仕様なので、結果のマイクロシーベルト値以外、何をどう読めばいいのかはわかりません。一般の人はlite版で十分でしょう。
自分は支援のつもりで有料版を買いました。

このアプリとType4の組み合わせです
シンプルで完成度高いと思います
まだ現役で使ってます

基本的なデザインはずいぶん前に完成されてますので度重なる改修は主にiOSのバージョンアップ対応です

iOSの対応には苦労されているようですが是非、今後も継続して欲しいプロジェクトです

計測だけなら前レビューにも書きましたがlite版で十分です

lite版で十分な測定ができます。
それでもpro版の購入を検討されているのであれば、より強い興味がお有りの方と思われますので少々細かいですが動作させた感想などをいくつか…

lite版の結果以外に得られるデータとしてpro版の購入者の方が共有されたデータの参照ができます。
他にも検知した放射線のグラフ表示などは使いようによっては歩きながら放射線の多いところを探すような事が簡易的ながらできます。
また、24時間5分刻みで値を測るような計測器とメモ用紙ではかなり億劫な事も可能です。

道具としてどのような使い方ができるか思い付きにある程度答えてくれる部分もあるものの動作の仕組みやiPhoneのクセに因ってしまう窮屈さがあるのも事実。

Amazonなど他サイトの評価に的外れなモノが目立つのが気になりますが、pro版を購入してみようと思い立った方であれば基本的な放射線検知の仕組みなどはご存知だと思いますので画面キャプチャなどをご覧頂いて検討されるのがよろしいかと思います。

This is a very expensive app that first of all should be included in the price if the product!
Second when running the app there is a spinning nuclear icon in the middle that gets totally distorted covering all the readings if you turn your phone on its side.
Third there are no good clear cut explanations for what the different readings actually mean.  I guess they expect us all to be nuclear scientist! 
There is wording at the top right of screen that says "unsupported device" yet this software and hardware are what they sell for THIS device.
 Very disappointed at this point for the price paid and I do not recommend the product or app until some bug fixes are made.
