Before you install, look at what you’re signing up for: every gizmo you make, every one you scroll, every tap and tilt is all free training data for Meta’s AI. You’re not the customer, you’re the unpaid labor teaching their models what holds human attention. And Pocket’s own App Store privacy label shows the haul linked directly to your identity: location, search history, browsing history, your photos and content, contacts, and device identifiers. There’s no meaningful opt-out. You can’t even create a profile without a Meta account, and you can’t delete your profile without deleting your entire Meta account. A cute toy game feed is the bait. Your behavioral data, and a better Meta AI you’ll never own a piece of, is the catch. This is not an isolated one-time failure on my end. I have updated the Pocket app multiple times across several days and repeatedly attempted to use the cross-posting functionality. It still does not work. Because cross-posting is a required part of my partner program deliverables, this has become more than a normal app bug. A feature provided by Pocket is directly preventing me from completing the requirements of my agreement. At this point, unless there is an account-specific issue affecting me, I have to assume other creators may also be unable to successfully cross-post to Instagram and Facebook through the app. I need this issue escalated and documented as soon as possible. I also need confirmation that I will not be considered noncompliant with my partner program requirements for posts that cannot be cross-posted because the required Pocket functionality is broken. If there is an approved alternative method for satisfying the Instagram and Facebook cross-posting requirement while this feature is unavailable, please provide the exact procedure. This needs attention from the team responsible for the partner program and the Pocket cross-posting functionality, since it directly affects contracted creator deliverables.
