### 4/5 — Great

*2025-09-12, version 0.5.12*

Pleeeease add up to 64 colors

### 4/5 — It just works (great)

*2024-03-09, version 0.5.10*

I’ve tried nearly all the top-rated color palette managers on iOS at this point, and this is the first color manager that simply does what it’s supposed to do: allow you to set, edit, save, and organize color palettes.

All the other apps either try to do too much while missing basic functionality (e.g. editing a color by RGB hex code) or don’t function at all without expensive subscriptions, purchases, account logins, etc. (which would be fine if the app functionality were worth it, in nearly all cases it wasn’t).

The only feature request I have (after which this app would pretty much be complete for me) is the ability for the app to suggest different tints, shades, complementary or opposite colors, etc. to speed up the process of fine-tuning a color scheme. The app helpfully allows three different input modalities for setting a color: hex, RGB, and HSB. I can typically get what I’m looking for by inputting my source hex and then tweaking using HSB as it’s a lot more human understandable than RGB. However, for those of us (myself included) who are not artists by training and are more lacking in the color theory department, it would help a lot to have some colors to choose from in the process of tweaking, rather than having to manually make a ton of mistakes tweaking HSB until happily finding the right color by chance :)

Thanks for the excellent (and free) app. I’m definitely buying you a coffee or two for this one!

### 5/5 — This app could easily be $4.99

*2024-03-09, version 0.5.10*

Works perfectly; does everything I need.

### 5/5 — It’s a simple no effort basic palette maker !

*2024-01-20, version 0.5.10*

I love it ! It does everything I need on the fly - THANK YOU!

### 5/5 — Nice

*2023-11-20, version 0.5.9*

It does what it says. Very handy!

### 5/5 — Simple yet powerful

*2023-09-12*

Amazing tool for storing, organizing, and accessing my palettes. I’m happy to not have to keep a bunch of images of color sets anymore, I can keep it all in one place. The share function is really useful with Procreate, and I like that backup functionality is added though I haven’t been in a position to try that out yet. Backup up is 100% the most important thing to me here.

This is my second review as the developer responded to my first review with a list of positive changes to app. I am pleased to say all of my concerns were addressed, and the 5 stars are well deserved.

**Developer response:** Issue one has been addressed in newer versions of the app. Regarding saving and backing up palettes, the app now uses CloudKit to store palettes, which allows them to be used across Apple devices and means they are recoverable if your device has an issue locally. There are also share features for palettes to pull hex codes or images to other applications and devices. Consider adding that extra star to your review if it works to your liking. ⭐️

Thanks for the great feedback!

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-09-11, version 0.5.9*

Thanks a lot for creating this powerful app.

### 5/5 — For Free? For Real!

*2023-07-24, version 0.5.9*

Everybody has their preferences when it comes to palette apps; and personally, I don’t want to see OTHER peoples palettes (OPP). Some apps do that, making it a socal feed of blah OPP; you have really no creative flexibility, let alone a way to organize your painstakingly created palettes efficiently.

This app nails everything one would want in color palette creation and management; creating, saving, grouping, and quick access.

It seems to utilize the backbone of iOS’s native files app to save your palette files, which is as good as it gets. I mean, the way you organize and save is entirely up to you- not a candy coated UI, and limit due to premium purchases.

If you want to quick pull up a palette to view it as a portable swatch, boom! You can. It pops right up. And display the hex, rgb, hsb, & cymk value accordingly.

The developer deserves more than a coffee. How bout a dinner 😉?

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-07-03, version 0.5.6*

This is really an amazing app I like it
You can create wonderful colours with it.

### 4/5 — Delete Option?

*2022-06-13, version 0.4.8*

There seems to not be a delete option if one could be added that would be amazing to have that so you can delete pallets that you don’t want

### 5/5 — This does it all!!!

*2022-05-28, version 0.4.8*

I was looking for an app that allowed color picking and pallet making. I downloaded this and used it and not only did it do what I expected but it offered more!!!! If you are putting together a pallet after the first two colors this app will offer suggestions for the next coordinating color. You can save your favorites, to the app or your own files. You can alter suggested pallets. You can pinpoint a spot on a picture and find that exact color and the color is given in three different formats maybe more but I only use HEX. And it is SIMPLE to use and has a back button if you goofed up. I had downloaded three other apps to try…..nope I deleted them after playing around with this one today.
Thank you developer, my worry is no more and I can easily get creative now!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2022-01-09, version 0.4.4*

Quick and simple would use again!

### 5/5 — Nicely designed

*2022-01-03, version 0.4.4*

• Free with no ads

• Easy to use

• Respects user privacy

• Still receiving updates

• Supports HEX/RGB/HSB models

• True black background in Dark Mode

• Group palettes by project & arrange order within group

• Eyedropper selects colors from photos or camera; tapping color at top of screen shows previously chosen location in photo

• Share all hex values to clipboard in one shot

This is a good-quality app, suitable for anyone who wants or needs to create color palettes at home or in the Great Outdoors. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Just what I needed!

*2021-12-15, version 0.4.4*

I love how simple this app is, and yet has just what I have been needing to keep track of my design pallets. And I really appreciate how responsive the developer has been in it’s evolution. In future updates, I would love to see a feature that gives us the ability to create a new folder while in the color picking mode, or the sample mode. While creating a pallet for a project, I often happen upon a random pallet that I really like, but that is not right for the current project. I would love to be able to keep it for future reference and then continue on with the project. As it stands right now, it looks like you have to create a folder ahead of time. I would love to be able to create folders on the fly while in the color picker. Just a suggestion!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Crashes, buttons don’t work, and the UI makes no sense.

*2025-12-16, version 0.5.12*

Doesn’t work. Crashes, buttons don’t work, and the UI makes no sense.

### 1/5 — 🤔

*2024-10-28, version 0.5.10*

There is a problem It does not save images and does not share files 👎

### 1/5 — Please add a feature for saving pallets and reorganizing

*2024-05-10, version 0.5.10*

Not being able to save them to my gallery is a waste of space usage for my device. All we can do is make pallets. Reorganizing them would be appreciated too.

### 1/5 — HSB is wrong

*2023-12-15, version 0.5.9*

HSB values are not correct

### 1/5 — How

*2023-06-21, version 0.5.5*

I wonder how you use it?

The developers response to my question was “EASILY”

hardly an answer at all not you what you would expect from someone who is concerned about their customers
It’s been a total waste of money, and I’m being laughed at

### 1/5 — Erased pallets

*2021-05-31, version 0.4.1*

The app worked fine up until the most recent update, I had lost all my previous color pallets. Love the app, I’m just disappointed that the update erased all my progress.

### 1/5 — Should be better

*2021-05-17, version 0.4.1*

This looked like a great app but it did not work for me. The UI was confusing and there was no clear direction on how to use the app. It almost acted as if it was not responding.

### 1/5 — Unauthorized Camera Access - INTRUSIVE

*2020-11-01, version 0.2.8*

This app will access your camera without your permission, and there is nowhere in iOS settings to revoke this.
If you click on Browse, it accesses your photos. At another instance it asked for permission, and when I denied, it still accessed my photos.

### 1/5 — No Landscape Mode No go

*2019-11-23, version 0.2.8*

Unusable with iPad as it is. I need landscape mode and multitasking

### 2/5 — Help! My colors are all gone!

*2025-07-04, version 0.5.12*

Years of saved palettes have just disappeared suddenly. How do I fix this? This app is wonderful, but if my saved colors are just going to disappear suddenly, I hesitate to put any time into this app at all…

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — great!! one thing would make it perfect…

*2026-05-27, version 1.0.2*

this is definitely my go to for making and storing color palettes! the fact that it’s free, unlimited, and simple makes it my first choice. i use it every time i write CSS code as a way of storing all my color schemes. because of that, i use HSL colors a lot. i currently use a HEX to HSL converter online, but it would be awesome if you could bypass the middleman and view HSL values within the app! other than that, great work!

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2026-05-21, version 1.0.2*

Helped me get custom colour schemes for some models I’m planning on painting

### 5/5 — Literally my favorite app

*2026-03-24, version 1.0.1*

If I couldn’t have this app I would literally throw my phone in a river because what would even be the point. Anyway, clean design, nice ui and does what it says on the tin. Couldn’t ask for more.

### 5/5 — One of the Best Palette Organizers

*2026-01-07, version 1.0.1*

Genuinely one of the best and easiest apps for storing and creating color palettes. My only wish is for the ability to organize collections inside of folders as, often, I need to organize palettes by character and project. It would be great to be able to name collections after the characters and then store them in a project folder!

### 5/5 — hex code

*2025-09-30, version 0.5.12*

thank you making this free app! i just started using it to make palettes for my digital journal!! it’s so neat & easy to use! 👏🏻✨

### 5/5 — Amazing, No Ads, and FREE

*2025-04-21, version 0.5.12*

Very slick and clean ui with great functionality. Honestly no reason to use anything else as this is just perfect.

### 5/5 — Simplest color tool around!

*2025-04-01*

This app does all the simple things you might need as a designer or artist. It has sliders to pick HEX or RGB, an eye dropper tool for images, organizing for projects, and sharing values or images from the app. There are a lot of similar tools, but this one is incredibly usable. And free!!

### 5/5 — Perfect in every way

*2024-12-28, version 0.5.11*

Finally found the perfect app for all my color and palette needs. It’s easy, well to manage, simple, clean and works so well. I’ve long searched for the right one and here it is. Definitely buying this dev a coffee. :)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-10-28, version 0.5.10*

Just the colour system conversion can be an independent app; and user can name their colour palette. What can I say. Deserve 6⭐️s. Bravo salute to you.

### 5/5 — LAB please!!!

*2024-04-18, version 0.5.10*

great app! would really appreciate a lab option!
