Oh… APPLE updated it for compatibility with the watch faces … well I guess the quality of your excuses now match what has become the quality of your product and reputation on this platform as developers. Did you take any money from anybody? I’ve been playing for years over multiple phones. It’s always been a go to app to kill some time. I’m not sure what happened, but now the game freezes after every level you play and you must reboot. I wish they could get back to a functional level like it used to be. Like others have said. It's not responsive to flicks which inherently makes it...not fun anymore. It just changed recently and now it's unresponsive and not nearly as good. Go back to the old version. Very touchy at moments and unresponsive at other moments. The long throw is particularly difficult and inconsistent - even in practice. Essentially you need luck to get all the way through the highest levels. Been stuck on level 15 and unable to get the gold football - but not because of my abilities. This may be the only game where you will see a decline in performance the more you play. Game response keeps interfering and preventing higher scores. And would it kill you guys to put a restart button so you don't have to go through the home screen every time you start a bad series and want to retry? ### 5/5 — Feels exactly like the real thing *2014-10-06, version 1.0.4* My fav flick type game. Takes a little bit to get down, but perfect learning curve. Worth the .99 UPDATE; 1 year later, this is still in my top 5 games. It is so realistic. You have to lead throws depending on speed of the player. Defense is also so realistic, where you have to at time do a touch lob to get over the defenders. This is so cool. Man some folks want perfection, but real football is not perfect. I'm here to play and have fun. Top scores mean nothing to me. ### 5/5 — Good game with fatal flaw *2014-09-14, version 1.0.4* Just got good at playing and started Survival game and would play and pause so I could keep playing. Got to around 1800 hours and over 6000 balls and the game just reset for no reason, didn't save my game or score... What a waste!! Tried this game again, and it is totally worthless. It freezes up whenever I try to play it. Somethings wrong here. The targets for receivers are too small. Receivers in real football have a much larger catching range than this dumb game depicts. Receivers disappear too soon, swiping is inaccurate and inconsistent. Will the developer EVER step up and fix this? ### 1/5 — Ok, but not great *2013-04-28, version 1.0.4* I agree with many reviewers here in that its addictive and fast paced. However, I dont agree with the comments that this is the best passing engine and that the "NFL" games should adopt this as their pass engine. Problem is that the receiving core here are garbage. No effort whatsoever. You can lay a beautiful pass where all the receiver has to do is extend his arms, but these will not. You get points for hitting the receiver in the foot buy not for hitting one in stride? Weak. I wouldnt buy this again for that reason. The defenders however go after the ball. Why dont the receivers??!! **UPDate** Well its been months going on yesrs w/out any sort of update to the game. Same old tired scrolling "promise" of a "fall update coming" yet nothing. Fall what? 2014? 2015? 2020? This game will only take you so far before **yawn** sets in. Deleting after reducing by yet another star. Weakness continues..... ****UPDATE**** a full year gone by without any improvement for the fundamental issues mentioned throughout these reviews . Still says "lots of exciting things coming in the fall". Looks like total abandonment by developer, choosing to keep squeezing a few more nickels out of starry eyed newcomer 4/5 star reviews. Down to one star which is a shame, it looked like it had great potential. May as well delete at this point. ### 1/5 — Terrible on iPhone 4S AND new iPad *2012-08-11, version 1.0.4* Only reason to buy this is because the money goes to a good cause, and even then you can donate directly if you want to. Controls are awful. Game lags on new iPad. I couldn't believe the difference when I played it on my iPhone 4S, where it's much snappier (but still terrible). Button presses are still very hit or miss, even when navigating through the (static) menu selections. Forget about playing this if you have a case, which will interfere with the motions required for completing passes. There's too much social media garbage built into the game - "Tweet Us Your High Score" & "Like Us on Facebook". C'mon guys, I just want to play the game. There's also no option to turn off that terrible music. ### 1/5 — Horrifically buggy app! *2012-04-28* Let's see, for starters sometimes the third receiver doesn't even show up on the field. He is on the sides completely out of view, so if you want to hit him,you basically have to guess where he is. Okay for level 1 or 2 - not so much when you have 5 defenders roaming around. Other problems include certain bonuses not being added into the score, balls sailing right through the target (despite the fact that you're dead on balls accurate) hail mary passes not working as they should, receiver targets you hit not disappearing and impeding other target (I especially love it when the already hit target latches onto another receiver and gets dragged around the field.) and for gods sake can we have a restart button? You know so if we're in say the 7th snap and we still have under 109 points we can just start the round over instead of hitting, " pause quit play career round start? Jeez what a pain! ### 1/5 — Pretty lame *2011-03-31, version 1.0.1* When comparing this to the other flick sport games, this game comes up well short of the 1st Down line (See what I did there?)
