## What is Pocket PnL?

Pocket PnL is a fast, private way to track and visualize your net worth, what you earn, and what you spend.

No sign-up. Open the app and start logging. Data is secure through your own iCloud.

FEATURES

Add in seconds
Tap + or -, type an amount, done. Add a note, a category, or how you
paid if you want the detail — skip it if you don't.

Quick Add, in your own words
Type or say "spent 24 on groceries" and Pocket PnL turns it into a draft entry
for you to check before it saves. The speech stays on your device.

Your day at a glance
Today's balance sits front and centre. Swipe between days to see previous days.

A real calendar
Every day shows its net, so a heavy week is obvious at a glance. Tap any day
for the full transaction list. Same thing with months, and years.

Stats that answer questions
Spending by tag, income vs expenses, trends over time, and a breakdown of what
went on which card. Look at this week, or step back through past weeks, months
and years.

Categories that make sense to you
Name your own tags and give each one an icon.

Cards
Add credit or debit cards you use and tag entries with them, so you can see what
each one is actually costing you.

Multiple currencies
Log an entry in a different currency and Pocket PnL converts it to your home
currency, keeping the original amount and the rate used.

Reminders
Set as many daily nudges as you want, so logging actually becomes a habit.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

There is no account to create and no server of ours holding your money data.
Everything is stored on your iPhone and synced through your own private iCloud,
which only you can read. We never see it, and we never sell or share it.

Works offline. Every entry saves to your device immediately, whether or not you
have a connection, and syncs when you're back online.

Requires iOS 17 or later and an iCloud account for sync.

Recurring entries. Set up rent, salary or a subscription once and Pocket PnL logs it for you on the day — then tells you it did, so nothing changes behind your back.

Export to CSV. Take your whole history, or any date range, into Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets. Your data has always been yours; now you can walk out with it.

Cleaner amounts. Every figure now shows just its currency symbol — $1,240.00 rather than CA$1,240.00.

Settings, reorganised. Everything now sits in three clear groups, with the theme and app icon pickers together in one place.

Back to today in one tap. Paged forward or back through the days? Tap the date to jump straight home.

Also fixed: the keyboard's Done button now closes the keyboard from every field, you can add a category without leaving the category list, and a category you have typed is kept when you save — even if you never tapped the checkmark.
