### 4/5 — Wilderness Paramedic Exam

*2026-08-02, version 3.28.0*

Hello, I used this app to help me study for my national exam for paramedic. I passed thanks to using this app and studying a lot. I would like to advance to having an wilderness paramedic certification. I am hoping that you guys can have a practice exam for the wilderness paramedic exam that is close to the IBSC. Thanks

### 5/5 — It works.

*2026-07-19*

Today I passed my NREMT exam in 70 questions and in 1 hour.

I took 3 of the mock exams. Failed 2 of them. Barely passed the third. But I also took 197 quizzes over the course of a month and a half. I spent 29 hours and 44 minutes quizzing, studying and doing the mix exams. I read all of the explanations etc. it was 1,000% worth every penny.

Things that would’ve been nice: an audio button to play an Ai voice of the questions. I used the app while walking a lot and always had to be reading it which was annoying.

And the only other thing was that after using it for 20 hours, I found out the desktop app had way more features like detailed Ai explanations of answers and things like that which are not on the mobile app.

Other than that this app was amazing and made the exam amazing.

Just be prepared for the exam to always word things more difficulty than this app. Like instead of just telling you someone has epiglottis, it will describe all of the symptoms and then ask you how to treat it and things like that. But this app trains you on knowing all the signs and symptoms really well.

Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-18, version 3.28.0*

Used it a month prior to my nremt and its was great practice it really helps you breakdown the tricky nremt questions. And the subscription was definitely worth it, super easy to cancel aswell when you are done!

### 5/5 — Fantastic resource

*2026-07-10, version 3.27.2*

Used pocket prep for a month before my EMT test and passed on my first try. I really liked how the app functioned and appreciated the extra functionality of the computer based training as well. Definitely recommend.

### 5/5 — My saving grace!

*2026-07-10, version 3.27.2*

PocketPrep prepared me more than any other study source. I passed my exam after 8 days of studying. I will recommend this app time and time again!

### 5/5 — Passed my first attempt

*2026-07-07, version 3.27.2*

A friend of mine recommended the app to help study for the EMT national registry. I bought it a month before the exam and was able to clock 15 hours in the app. The rationale for the questions was a game changer and set this app apart from every other magical study app. 10/10 would recommend

### 5/5 — Worth it

*2026-07-04, version 3.27.2*

I find this app to be very convenient when working on the box. I’m learning things I didn’t fully grasp in medic school.

### 5/5 — Passed

*2026-07-04, version 3.27.2*

10 days of studying with this app and passed on my first

### 5/5 — You will pass!

*2026-07-04, version 3.27.2*

After panicking for 3 weeks about my NREMT I told my friend and he recommended pocket prep genuinely worked wonders helped me understand topics I struggled with like operations and primary assessment but worked like a charm!

### 5/5 — Passed NREMT-P

*2026-06-26, version 3.27.2*

Did about 1200 questions over 1-2 months and passed NREMT-P first try in 2026. Thanks PP!!

### 5/5 — Best app for NREMT

helped me pass!! love it!

### 5/5 — Amazing help

*2026-06-23, version 3.27.2*

It helped me so much in for school and the nremt. I highly recommend using pocket prep as a way to help study and learn.

### 5/5 — Helpful app

*2026-06-18, version 3.27.2*

App was useful in getting my certification. They also refunded me after being auto charged because i failed to cancel my subscription. I didn’t realize I had to. Very appreciative they made it so easy to refund.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-06-13, version 3.27.0*

Passed my NREMT at 100 questions. Thank you pocket prep!! The new AI tool is super helpful and the practice exams are great! Definently recommend!

### 3/5 — Ok. Needs some updating.

*2026-06-09, version 3.27.0*

Found that the Pocket Prep was fairly useful but not solely. You need to use a few different apps to get a diverse amount of information to prepare for the test. Do not rely solely on just one app if possible.

### 4/5 — 1st attempt pass

*2026-06-08, version 3.27.0*

Passed first attempt. Used this app, the book and paramedic coach

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-06-06, version 3.27.0*

I used this app for a couple months to study for both my NYS EMT-B exam and the NREMT. Everything’s good, it would just be nice to have offline functionality is all.

### 5/5 — Passed first try

*2026-06-05, version 3.27.0*

It was really helpful in explaining why and how things work

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-07-20, version 3.28.0*

They’re horrible at problem solving /resolution.

### 1/5 — DO NOT TRUST, MANY QUESTIONS ARE WRONG/OUTDATES

*2026-06-12, version 3.27.0*

Not worth the money. They are completely wrong about a ton of things like categorizing burns in degrees (not done any longer), tells you to put defib pads over pacemakers, says trauma is a bigger life threat to infants than hypoxia. Use a different app to study because you’re not passing your nremt with this garbage.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-05-19, version 3.26.0*

This app sucks and charged me when I cancelled. Awful for effective emt studying.

### 1/5 — Overcharging

*2026-05-14, version 3.26.0*

They charged me months after I logged out of the account. They explicitly just look to get as much money out of their users as possible

### 1/5 — Make sure to unsubscribed from the website

*2026-04-07, version 3.25.0*

Yeah so I passed my NREMT in December after I passed that I canceled my subscription what do you know it’s April and I got charged so I checked back I have been paying for this app for months after I literally canceled the subscription on apple. The fact that your company is doing this is wrong on all levels. I would have wrote a good review but the fact that you guys did this is the most disgusting thing you could do. I want my money back for those months or I will be calling whoever is in charge and harassing people till I get my money back. Idc how little it was this is about being honest and you guys aren’t. Make sure not to use this app because they will make sure to save your credit card and charge you for Months before you notice…

### 1/5 — Totally irrelevant questions

*2026-04-06, version 3.25.0*

This app includes a ton of things that you don’t recognize from class. Not only that it is irritating as it intentionally will trip you up. The National Registry doesn’t try to trick you as bad as this app. Super frustrating all around. I would highly recommend the paramedic coach over this app.

### 1/5 — Complete trash

*2026-01-22, version 3.24.6*

Just terrible wording on the questions. Guess they ran out of GPT tokens. Like seriously you’re questioning becomes too harsh too fast with WAY to many multiple choice questions and wording that is complete trash. You want people to fail so they are forced to sub to the app. You’re not actually teaching anything you monsters.

### 1/5 — Complete trash

*2026-01-08, version 3.24.5*

Just terrible wording on the questions. Guess they ran out of GPT tokens

### 1/5 — App

*2025-11-05, version 3.24.1*

This app I used for a month, I paid 15 bucks for 1 month of premium after my test it wasn’t working anymore so I deleted the app come to find out they have been charging me 15 bucks for the last 3 months. Would not recommend this app

### 1/5 — Discouraging

*2025-10-17, version 3.24.0*

Majority of these questions are suited for paramedics. If you’re studying to pass the NREMT, I highly advise against using this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 10/10 highly recommend for the NREMT

*2026-07-31, version 3.28.0*

I’ve used this app now for both my emt basic and paramedic nationals. Passed my basic the first time and passed my paramedic the second time using study guides through this app. Definitely worth the money for the extra study materials

### 5/5 — The NREMT was passed first try

*2026-07-30, version 3.28.0*

Definitely helpful. Make sure you study LC Ready, JB Learning, Fisdap Learning Resources, and any other NREMT study tool you can find to become successful. The NREMT adaptive test is one of the most difficult tests you will ever take and Pocket Prep will help the best it can. God speed!

### 5/5 — Passed

*2026-07-30, version 3.28.0*

I used this app leading up to my NREMT exam, I passed on my first attempt. Great tool to use for prep.

### 5/5 — Great Prep for NREMT

*2026-07-28, version 3.28.0*

Worth the time and money! Passed my NREMT today and the questions and formats were similar. The breakdown of the answers and explanations really helps. Will continue to use to keep me sharp as I go through fire academy!

### 5/5 — Best study tool for NREMT!!

*2026-07-27, version 3.28.0*

This was the #1 study tool I used that helped me pass my NREMT in 70 questions. I did half of all the questions (1000/2000) and felt overly confident going into the exam. I had questions on my exam that were word for word the same as questions in pocketprep. You can definitely pass by just using this and that’s all. The only thing I did was the 10 question quizzes and that was it. Best study tool by far worth the $15 100%.

### 5/5 — Great Paramedic Prep

*2026-07-27, version 3.28.0*

I have enjoyed this app for preparing for two of the exams. I am liking the new question updates.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2026-07-23, version 3.28.0*

Really has helped me study for my final for my EMT class and I feel like I am well prepared for the NREMT exam

### 5/5 — Absolute necessity if you’re a student or studying for the NREMT!

*2026-07-21, version 3.28.0*

Struggled a lot and didn’t pass my first time taking the class. However when I tried and mostly used Pocket Prep the second time around, I could see my average score slowly trend upwards and was able to pass my finals!

### 5/5 — Best Question Bank to Study for NREMT/NRAEMT!

*2026-07-21, version 3.28.0*

I used Pocket Prep to study for both my NREMT and NRAEMT, and passed both first try! The AEMT question bank is especially similar to the NRAEMT in regards to the clinical judgement questions. By far the most similar to the NRAEMT, and I have used Medic Test and LC Ready as well. Also, the explanations are great!

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-07-20, version 3.28.0*

Helped me pass my second time make sure to pay for the prescription and use their level up tests
