prepping T6, electronics. 50-questions only on this subject. Wrote support team asking specifically on T6 questions and was told there are 400 questions. Liars! Only 50-electrical questions…not worth the money.

It is a pretty good app but questions don’t change wish they had a few more questions plus a diagram scheme question depicting components and questioning functions in reference to depictions passed 3 out of the 4 I took using this app and delmar books but the hvac side has a lot of depictions questions so got me threw off a little they only have 45 hvac questions in this app and feel should be a little more

Some questions are missing important info such as what system the question is referring to. Example: What fluid pressure should be at idle without indicating that the question is about transmission hydraulic system pressure.

I would like it to have more questions. While over 500 is a good amount. When you’re talking 9 subjects it doesn’t really mean too much. Also it needs to tell you what subject you are on if you are grouping together multiple subjects. Not just ask a question. It’s ok that it goes randomly as it keeps my mind thinking more. But sometimes I have no clue what subject the question is on.

I’ve used this for years to review auto info, not just to study for the tests. It’s really evolved and come a long way, and is worth the price. However, I do wish we could get more variety of questions, ie with graphics and diagrams and whatnot.

I will have to say when I used the old version of this app I was disappointed in them not using official ASE questions so I stopped studying for tests. Now since I updated to the new version I am very impressed by the similarity to official questions. I can now walk into the test confident that I can pass it. The reference both halderman and motor age training when you get answers wrong so you can get complete explanations on the questions. If you bought practice tests of ASE.com it would be these types of questions that you would get but this app is much more affordable. Thank you for this amazing update

This study guide only gives you 30 to 40 questions for exams that contain up to 100 questions.  Don’t waist your time or money

This used to be a different app all together and I paid for the premium version to have the best chance at my tests. Then they made a new app and cut the ability to use the old app. Now im order to use the testing capabilities I used to have, I have to pay a huge monthly fee. Just another company forcing people to pay more and more. Its very sad because this WAS a good app.

I wasted my time studying all these questions for my ASE T8 exam. when i took the test I didn’t even see one question I studied for. Don’t waste your money and just buy the book. Wasted a lot of time and money. Just buy the book and do it the right way. They developer should return my money and pay for my exam fee. This app is a scam! Beware! The book has the questions on test…

Please, note that we have never advertised that Pocket Prep questions are the same as the ones on the exam, in fact, Pocket Prep advocates the opposite! We recommend that you do not look for resources that claim to have real exam questions as there is no legal way of acquiring those. You said it best - "do it the right way". Pocket Prep questions are built to assist you in your studies and using a book along with our app is a great idea.

I have been using this app and the test bank has nothing in common with the ASE L3 test I took this morning. I was testing 93 to 95 percent with this app. Also there are a few questions that didn’t make any sense. I am cancelling my subscription.

Got this app a while ago. Studied for a little bit over a month. Was getting 98-100% everytime. Took my ase‘s yesterday. Not one question that is in the prep was on the exam. This app is completely useless!

I like the user friendly interface of the application and the options - Customizing the test you want with the ASE section of choice, timed or untimed, all or some of the questions.. I do NOT, however, like how basic the material is. Not a lot of ground is covered whatsoever.  T3 kept it to 45 questions total. Vary basic basic questions. Come test day, the actual ASE test will break down complex questions like tandem gear ratio compensation for an overdrive to direct drive transmission conversion, questions on inboard and outboard planetary gear systems and their applications, how twin countershaft transmission are so common because of their ability to handle such power and be of a shorter/compact design. . . Bottom line is the app itself is designed very well. But the material here to retain is NOT worth the $10.00 subscription, by no means.

Just purchased one month to cram for my test.  The convenience of using my phone, the question of the day, daily quiz and weak subject matter helped me to become more confident doing the test.    Printing off a copy of the L2 composite vehicle is a must because 70% of the questions say to refer to it.  The actual L2 was a bit trickier, REALLY need to pay attention to the little details in the questions.  They are all clues to get to the correct answer.   Pocket prep L2 made you go a layer or two deep to get to the correct question, the actual test had me going 3 to 4.  Very happy with the app and my results.

This app has been amazing in helping me practice for my exams. The questions are well structured, and the explanations make complex topics easier to understand. I feel like I’ve learned so much more using this app, and my confidence has grown tremendously. It’s a must have tool for anyone preparing for plumbing, electrical, or ASE certifications. Highly recommend!

Honestly the L1 is a open book test for half of it. If you are a diagnostic tech it will all make sense. But this app was great to study the questions at least. You will need a copy of the composite vehicle when using this app just like the real test.

🙋‍♂️ are typically challenging 😰 yet variety of reductive relationship are broad minded and yet information ℹ️ of correct information ℹ️ is perfect 🤩 I find the free version are limited to specifics that are not typically found in schooling.
