Hear me out: I get the world we currently live in is ruled by a monetary system and therefore I don't expect nothing free. However, their free version is limited to what you can do for free. Think of it like this: you're hungry but can only eat a limited amount of samples. It just won't work and that's what's happening here. And the main turning point for me is the price to use it, is just too much when you account for other subscription the average person carries with them. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We hope you give Pocket Pricer another try once it’s available. ### 5/5 — Best I’ve used *2026-04-08* I’ve used several other scanning apps to help price my fabric and pottery finds, but this one has been the most accurate I’ve found, hands down. ### 3/5 — Cool concept, needs work *2026-04-07* The idea of being able to do this on the go is a super cool idea. It lacks the ability to differentiate between volumes if the brand has a regular size and a travel size it will only give you data on the regular size. Once that issue is fixed and they add the ability to manually enter size specifications to curb the results towards what you’re looking at I think it can be a great product. Ive only used this on a limited trial run so I can’t vouch for any other categories but health and wellness products aren’t a great product to use for this with the variations they have in sizes. ### 3/5 — Needs More *2026-04-03* Like the idea of this app but it needs more - in particular you can’t do comps from a photo. Has to be a live shot. Also doesn’t let you narrow down a search by keywords such as brand. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn’t.
