I can honestly say I actually look forward to watching this everyday unlike any other show all my life ! I have spent more time watching this series the past couple weeks than I have all my lifetime together !! A few problems occur sporadically throughout the series…. AI just takes over with different voices, and different faces and looks of the, their clothing is different in the same scene, and marks and bruises appear of the faces and body, seems look different randomly throughout!! this is a big problem that needs to be fixed. Watched 2 episodes on $10 The free coin decreased from 60 to 25 at 12 per episode. I also loose my free with add episodes as it backs up. I had made several in app purchases before and had no issues whatsoever. However my last purchase led to me ultimately requesting the deletion of my account. They have the ability to cheat their consumer audience out of coins and there’s nothing you can do about it, then if you inquire about it they will remove your vip reward status. There for I’m putting out a warning so others can be aware in case this or something like this happens to them. The whole thing ended up being a scam. And I think most of their positive reviews are AI generated. ### 1/5 — Audio *2026-08-17* 1 Star for several reasons. 1. No Japanese audio for an anime short app is just baffling when you have multiple options listed as well. 2. The stories are choppy at times and audio will cut off completely with the characters still mouthing and “speaking.” 3. The characters whole appearance will change completely during some scenes as is the price of a cheaply put together cash grab. I’m honestly frustrated that you guys uploaded episodes without thoroughly vetting the whole episode to make sure audio and visuals were up to par. At least enough to not break the immersion of the story, if you’re just going to use AI to make it anyway. The only real good thing I have to say is that IF you’re ABSOLUTELY BORED then it might be worth it to you. ### 1/5 — Using AI for your ads?! I’m 700 chapters deep at this point and won’t delete the app because of it. I thought some of the stories were getting better (less misogynistic, ok-ish story lines, and forgivable English translations) but I couldn’t read some. Turns out I needed to update my app. And guess what the new update brought? Stories that can only be watched with horrible dubs. My story I was 700 episodes deep in was also changed to this ‘watching’ mode and I was put back to the beginning. It was dreadful trying to get back to read mode (not intuitive) and I had to scroll and hit buttons to get back to where I was at. Such a waste of time. I am seriously not looking forward to this update. It’s going to make me less likely to open stories that have a video mode because I just don’t want that. I read when I probably shouldn’t and don’t want me clicking on a story to get some information about it to randomly start with volume on. Horrifying. I’m also not happy about how much battery this app may use nor the amount of time that I am sure is going into making the ‘anime videos’. I’d rather have better story lines, better translations, and more content than this nonsense. If I want to watch anime, I can go to crunchyroll. I just want to read manga. UPDATE: Changed to 1 star, would do 0 if possible. There is no way to turn off the auto play feature for the promoted video short and every time I add coins to continue my story or leave the app I am forced to leave my story and watch the stupid promoted video again. This is NOT GOOD!!!! Every time this happens I have to go back to my story, click on the chapter I’m on (820-830 range now) wait SEVERAL MINUTES for it to load and then continue reading. Heaven forbid my phone goes to sleep or I take a call, etc. otherwise I have to go through the whole process again. The new update makes this app SLOW. Each chapter I have to wait about a minute after it starts before I can start scrolling again. Never used to do that. Ive been using this app for ages and absolutely detest it now.
