It is currently telling me it doesn’t recognize my email address but then when I try to create a new account it says my address is already being used. So frustrating. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2020-07-04, version 1.22* I am visiting Camden, Maine, and when I put in the zip of a salon I know I is on the app, it doesn’t appear! If I type the name of the salon, it works. That’s a terrible design flaw. Also, when trying to book, I can’t search by day. I have to click on the service, then each stylist (who are all booked). Such a time waster. If I enter an email initially, it tells me I’m not in the system. When I select my salon as a guest and try to create an account, the message I receive is that the email/account exists. Carlos and Tina run a very top-notch salon. I usually stay with one stylist but sometimes they move away to different salons and I prefer to stay with the Aveda Salon vs staying with the stylist. I also love Aveda products. My hair is always healthy and Aveda has products for whatever my hair needs are. Whether it be needing more moisture or my hair is frizzing up, there are products to meet my needs. Kudos to Carlos, Tina and my stylist Christina❣️ ### 5/5 — Convenient *2022-07-11, version 1.28* This has made guest checkout very easy. Guests check out paying for services and product purchases while they are still in the chair. It’s quick and they do it from their phone. I love how they can see their history of previous product purchases and their service history. Wish it had product descriptions but still a great way to give local salons business during the pandemic! ### 4/5 — Needs more work to be perfect! *2018-09-01, version 1.9* A few of my guests have been testing this app for us, and we’ve noticed now that the app does not retain the client’s payment information, so they’re having to enter it every time they want to check out. Also, they can send messages to us but we can’t respond to them from the SalonBiz app. Please add these features so that we can get the most out of the app! ### 2/5 — Needs logic update *2023-12-30* Unable to sync / upload appointments to calendar. Tells me to allow access on settings but there is NO option to turn calendar access on. An older person may find this app very fussy to use. It is taking a long time to set up and access to use. I’ve had a few successes but it should be faster , simpler , and the esthetic is kind of bland. ### 2/5 — Good idea *2018-03-27, version 1.4* It would be nice to be able to cancel an appointment. We had log in issues in the beginning- we needed to first sign up on the salon’s website for it to work, and had to wait a couple days. Maybe they can write the days the stylists work, so I’m not clicking everyday.
