It requires you sign up with an email and use their cloud service which if you want more space requires a monthly fee. When scanning your document, the edge finding technology is wretched. It bounces through a variety of closeups of the page before finally setting on the document itself. The picture quality is atrocious. Very blurry. Most other scanners offer a whiteout option to clean up the document. This one does not. What it does offer is a few quite awful photo editing options, most of which either completely black out or white out the image. You're better off sticking with scantify or office lens. Definitely not worth the $2.99.
