Then I realised just how slow the game would be if I didn’t spend the £24.99 A MONTH the dev’s charge to go “ad free”. Sadly the £25 is just for starters, my screen is full of options to spend, a quick tally of the daily deals is another £92 DAILY FOLKS. Then there are the extras that are time limited, another £87 and some had already expired. There are so many ways the dev’s try to get you to spend I could never list them all. Here’s a couple though: Pirate Island and the fishing event, where it is impossible to compete unless you spend your whole day watching overly long ads every two minutes, logged in all day, and/or spend actually cash. It’s a very clever money grab this game. I’ll delete with a sad heart, it truly had potential:( ### 4/5 — Fun game with one terrible flaw *2026-07-12, version 1.1.0* Fun game, no forced pop up ads. But one big problem is the Adventure sub game that you are forced to complete to move forward in the game. Each level is 3 sub levels so you are forced to complete 100 or more battles to advance. The adventure battles are tedious and slow. Every time I attempt to initiate a battle, the game crashes, which means I cannot earn the essential items needed to advance. I have already tried force-quitting, reinstalling, updating my iPhone, and lowering all graphics/FPS settings to the minimum, but nothing helps. It is very frustrating to be stuck like this. You are NOT playing against real people. They are all fake computer players and their progress is a lie as well. It doesn’t matter how well you do, the computer players will do better. In order to win you have to cheat and you have to cheat at the last few seconds of the event. This game was made with so much love and effort and it clearly shows!! I really love how the instructions are imbedded into the story (genius) it makes you slow down and fall in love with the characters and their journey. There are NO ads!! You may of course choose reward ads which is very nice. Plus there are upgrades to buy if you so choose (SUPPORT THEM!!!). The music is relaxing and there’s plenty to do to keep you playing for hours at a time. I could go on and on about this masterpiece, like I said it’s very clear the devs poured their heart and souls into this and they still keep it updated and add new things. This goes far beyond just being a game. In fact, I hesitate to call it a game. It’s more like an adventure with little cartoon characters that I’ve grown quite fond of. The developers of this adventure have a wonderful sense of humor! I love EVERYTHING about this game, I mean everything. I’ve never said or even came close to thinking that about any game I’ve played before. And I play a lot of games. I try to experience every game on the app. This one is the best - by far! No game comes close to this. The graphics are incredible, the story is interesting and fun. The characters are like people I know, they have so much personality that I’ve become attached to them, lol. I had the game before, didn’t get too far and my phone was stolen. So it took me a minute, but I finally redownloaded and just started over. I love the game even more the 2nd time! I’ve been playing for only a few weeks and I’m at level 137, and I’m still at the beginning of the game!! I wanted to leave a review, because I’m one of those people who won’t download a game until I’ve read the reviews. I don’t want anyone to miss out on this great game. Oh, and there’s no ads unless you choose to watch them to get extra resources. You absolutely do not have to spend money to have a wonderful time, although I have to admit I spent a couple dollars just to show my appreciation. I will always spend money on games that make the player feel important and appreciated, and this game does it all. To the developers, THANK YOU! You outdid the whole industry!!
