Very disappointed as it’s a beautiful game. Also… feels abandoned. ### 2/5 — This UI Stinks *2026-03-30, version 1.2.3* Having all these buttons on the main screen when they should be behind a menu is a terrible design choice. Why do I need a giant button on the left side of the screen advertising a season pass that isn’t even out yet. (Update: Can you add a social/friend aspect to this game?) ### 2/5 — Sad Departure For Nimblebit *2025-10-23, version 1.2.3* This app is missing a lot of Nimblebit’s signature polish and charm. They made sure to cram it full of pop-ups for microtransactions and buggy ads for King’s Shot though. Anything resembling a truck you’d like to actually have is behind a (real money) paywall. Not enough chance to earn keys. Not even the chance to purchase at a reasonable price! Not enough jobs of the right type. Half the jobs are chilled goods - only 2 of the 30 odd trucks carry chilled goods! However, once at level 50 keys are no longer part of the rewards. So from all appearances, I cannot unlock more cities for the time being-I’m not paying real money. I found it nice that it’s easy enough to build up the bux. So maybe a bux to key conversion would be nice? I know the microtransaction hustle. But man, just seeing how much of this game feels like it wants you to put down real money or watch ads kinda bums me out. Dipping my toes back into Pocket Trains and Pocket Planes makes Pocket Trucks just seem like it’s trying to get you to pay up and some of the things you need to pay for are egregious. However there are many confusing things about it, promises of more features that are not available (what the heck do we do at the parts station?) However, it’s been a long time since a new campaign has started and there are some long standing bugs waiting to be fixed. But then when I opened the app, I couldn’t even make it pass the first screen as I couldn’t press any of the buttons. It’s just weirdly buggy and I redownloaded a few times and even restarted my phone, but to no avail. It’s ok when you first start out. 5-10 hours in it really turns into a grind. Shortly after it’s so difficult to progress and there’s very little reward to continuing. I gave it several updates hoping they’d get it sorted out but it just kept getting worse. Play every other game they make except this one. Now, I have to search for them on the map and there’s no rhyme or reason to when those keys will appear. I need to watch 5 ads a day just to receive one key. With 2-4 compartments. Would love if you would make it to where we could trade bux for city keys. Or at least open a market place where we can buy parts with bux or use our scrap to build parts. Wondering when the pocket pass will release so we have access to the premium vehicles we need that ASAPPP !!
