It wasn't anything spectacular but it gave me my daily quote. The update they recently pushed, however, has made the app so much better! First of all, it looks better. Much better. And it pushes the quote to you instead of you having to go into the app. That was a big bonus for me. It was far more aesthetically pleasing with the stones and water ripples. The inability to have favorite quotes is lame and the daily quote only changes within my daily notification. I , too, am disappointed at the loss of my favorites. I will be searching for another app as well. One star to the updaters and 5 stars to those of us who move on to higher app awareness... ### 1/5 — Uninsightful *2013-12-18, version 3.0* Don't bother with this. Version 3.0 is the most significant downgrade to any app I have downloaded from the App Store. Losing my favorites is the least gripe. No longer updates with new quotes daily, the previous quotes are gone and replaced with uninspiring, Cracker Jack phrases that do not lend themselves to mindfulness or even fauxOprah-"insight." ### 1/5 — A favorite for years, RUINED forever! *2013-12-02, version 3.0* I'd give it 0 stars of I could. New style is terrible all my saved quotes are gone and the type of quotes they have now are more based on pop literature than zen philosophy. DELETE! I reviewed my library of favorites on a regular basis - it was one of the best things about the old version. Have to manually click to see a different saying. They just are recycled over and over. It seems like there are about 20 or so quotes that reoccur. Then I updated the app and upgraded the quote package for $3. Ever since, I don't get daily quote pop up alerts no matter what settings I adjust!
