Updated: One feature I would like to see is being able to choose diners in the Shared Meal details instead of all diners splitting the Shared Meal items equally. I've always chosen to be the Official Split Bill Calculator for our group of 11 moms. While I loved that assignment, everyone would get more than a little impatient at the wait while I crunched numbers. This app does EXACTLY what I need it do. Yes! Yes! Yes!

Awesome app! I use it all the time when I'm out with friends cause it makes it so much easier to separate the bill. This app has helped me out in some sticky situations.  I don't have a lot of cash, however some of my buddies are lawyers.  Anyways, we went out for somebody's birthday the other night at a steakhouse.  Almost everyone got big slabs of meat, but since I'm a vegetarian I got a much less expensive dish.  When the bill came, I was able to use this app to pay only my portion, and not subsidize everyone else.  Plus the "birthday mode" made it really easy to treat the special guest.  Highly recommended!

PocketDiner has been fully reworked, with a complete redesign of the app. By popular request, a new feature have been added to allow shared food for selected diners not just to simply sharing with everyone in the group. PocketDiner is for you if dividing the bill by the number of diners doesn't work.
