But the real reason is I wanted to change the App Store cover image. And on a side note, it also marks the moment I became unemployed :D WHAT'S NEW • Estimate how many days you could get by if you lost your income. Based on your current assets and average spending, the app estimates how long you could keep going without any income. • Data Usage screen. See how much storage the app is using and clear some up if needed. IMPROVEMENTS • Settings no longer sync via iCloud (except a few special features). Reduces unnecessary data conflicts between devices. • Faster app launch with a shorter loading screen. • Improved sync speed with less stutter. • Polished the Asset Overview screen, the To-do screen, and a few popups. • Improved the Mac interface and animated background effects. BUG FIXES • Fixed the Overview not updating the current value correctly after a partial asset settlement. • Fixed world gold/silver prices not showing per-oz. • Fixed an unnecessary data-conflict popup appearing. • Fixed the onboarding flow showing incorrectly when local data already existed, blocking iCloud restore. • Fixed recurring savings transactions generating unnecessary extra entries. • Shared accounts can no longer be used for accumulation transactions, to avoid related errors. ### 1.4.3 — 2026-08-28 This update wasn't really urgent, but I had some free time so here it is. I've realised there are actually people out there using this app besides me. Thank you for the support ^^ WHAT'S NEW • Added a scroll-to-top button for long lists — scroll far enough and an arrow button appears in the bottom-right corner to take you back to the top. • The gold/silver chart now shows both the buy price (green) and the sell price (red), each with its own price marker and touch point as you drag across the chart. IMPROVEMENTS • Restructured the Background screen: pick the background image and the effect separately, and the Dynamic background section is gone since it's no longer needed. • Removed the date restrictions when logging asset transactions — pick any date, except a savings plan's maturity date which still has to come after the start date. • Less stutter when using an animated background. • A few small tweaks to the spending pyramid. BUG FIXES • Fixed a few issues with shared accounts. ### 1.4.2 — 2026-08-24 New features: - Experimental feature: Achievements. - Experimental feature: Spending pyramid. - Added a price chart to the gold/silver widget. - You can now add a transaction directly from the account screen (iPhone only). - Added new color palettes and background effects. Changes & Improvements: - Accounts are now listed with the most recently used first. - Added a badge to identify shared accounts and shared trips. - Reorganized the Settings screen for clarity, grouping related sections under Appearance. - Added a warning note when logging a gold purchase. - Added more details to the gold/silver brand section. - Shows a progress state while an account is being deleted. - Improved loading speed for the event list of a shared account. - Minimal mode no longer opens the add transaction screen automatically on launch. Bug fixes: - Fixed several issues with shared accounts and shared events. - Fixed the event picker still showing a name even though the event list was empty. - Fixed the world silver price widget disappearing after a refresh. - Fixed amounts still being visible after reopening the app with the hide-amounts option turned on. ### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-11 Features: - Allow importing data from this app. - Added Loan tracking. Improvements: - Changed how gold/silver prices are fetched.
