## What is pocketplur?

pocketplur is the festival app for people who'd rather catch every set than spend the day texting "where are you?" Plan your weekend, find your crew when you get separated, and settle the "who's going to which stage" debate before the gates open.

Plan your festival
Mark must-sees and maybes from the full lineup. Spot set-time conflicts before they happen, pick which stage to commit to, and see your whole day hour-by-hour. Free time? We'll suggest acts you'd love based on what you've starred.

Rally — find your crew anywhere
Lost your friends in a huge crowd with no signal? Rally points you straight to them — fully peer-to-peer, no cell service needed.

How Rally works
1. Add your crew once. Scan each other's pair code — a quick two-way handshake. No phone numbers needed.
2. Get separated. Lose each other in a packed crowd with dead signal? Open Rally.
3. Find them. An on-screen beacon points toward your friend with live direction and distance. Sharpest on iPhone 15 Pro and later (Ultra-Wideband); a guided beacon on earlier iPhones.
4. Stay in touch. Send a text or photo straight to your crew over Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi — no cell service required.
Rally is peer-to-peer and friend-gated: only people you've added can find or message you, nothing routes through our servers, and you can block or remove anyone.

Decide together
Polls for "which set at 9?", meetups with a place and time, and a group schedule showing every member's picks side by side.

Bring your own festival
Not in our catalog? Create a custom festival, drop in the lineup, and plan around it like the big ones.

Live mode on the day
Day-of, the app flips into a now/next view with your next set, walk times, and your crew's presence at a glance.

pocketplur is free to start, with an optional Pro subscription for AI planning, crew chat, and your festival year wrapped. We don't sell your data. Full privacy policy at pocketplur.com/privacy.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.3 — 2026-08-03

Your crew gets a plan of its own.

- Add something to the crew's plan - dinner, a meeting spot, a ride home - and it belongs to the group, not to whoever typed it. Anyone can add or remove it, and it stays put if they leave.
- Add to the schedule right from the schedule. The group's Schedule tab now lets you add a plan item or a pick without going anywhere else.
- Adding to the crew plan works offline on iPhone and syncs when you get signal back.
- Your artist picks stay yours. They come from your own plan, the way they always have.

Plan where you're meeting, not just when.

- Attach a plan item to a spot on the festival map - including your crew's meetup spot - and everyone sees the place alongside the time.
- Map pins are now purely places. The time lives on the plan item, so there's one obvious place to set it.

Group coordination fixes.

- Meetup changes now reach your crew. Move a meetup's time or place and everyone sees it - in the group feed and on their phones - instead of getting a notification with nothing behind it.
- Meetups you make on your phone now show up for everyone, the same as on the web.
- When someone leaves a group, the member list updates right away.
- Anonymous polls are properly anonymous - results show the tallies, not who voted for what.
- Custom plans work in groups, and meetup times use the festival's local time, not your phone's.
- Past festivals show up in your festival list again.
- Assorted reliability fixes across groups, polls, and Pro.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-07-27

Now with Sign in with Apple.

- Sign in with Apple: continue with your Apple ID in one tap, right alongside email and phone.
- A smoother welcome: open a group invite and see who you're joining - the group, the festival, and how many are in - before you sign up.
- Easier to bring your crew: clearer invite links and friendlier nudges to add the friends you're going with.
- Reliability and polish across onboarding, groups, and schedule.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-07-24

Finding your festival is easier than ever.

- A redesigned start: browse and search festivals as bold lineup-poster cards, and jump straight into the one you're headed to.
- Not listed yet? Create your own in seconds - add the dates, then snap or upload the lineup poster and we'll read the acts, days, and stages for you to review.
- Smoother planning: the Plan tab now scrolls even before you've added any picks, plus a cleaner launch screen.
- Reliability and polish across onboarding, schedule, and groups.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-23

Getting your crew together just got easier.

- A smoother first run: a quick tour shows you how to save sets, build your plan, and find your friends.
- @handles for everyone: claim your unique @handle and share it.
- Invite your friends: send a personal invite link, or add a friend by typing their exact @handle - no need to be side by side. Pair up before the festival, and Rally reconnects you on-site when cell service drops.
- Your recap now counts the sets you were actually there for, not just the ones you planned.
- Lots of polish across onboarding, Rally, groups, and notifications, plus reliability fixes.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-07-15

Rally is now sharper at guiding you to your crew:

• Keep finding your friends with your phone in your pocket — the redesigned Live Activity guides you in from the lock screen with direction and distance.
• pocketplur now opens straight to the festival lineup.
• Photos you send in Rally appear right away.
• Reliability and polish across ranging, permissions, and messaging.
