• Set a total and a daily budget, and see what you can safely spend today
• Give food, activities or anything else its own budget, with a heads-up before you go over
• Spend in any currency and see it in your home currency, also offline
• Scan a receipt and on-device AI fills in the amount, date and category (on supported devices)
• Split costs with travel buddies and see who owes whom at the end
• Flights and hotels won't wreck your daily average
• Add expenses with Siri or from Control Center, and keep today's budget on your Lock Screen
• Stats, a map of everywhere you spent, and widgets for your Home Screen
• Export to CSV or PDF, or share a finished trip as a boarding pass
• No account needed: your trips stay in your own iCloud

Made for backpackers, city trippers, road trippers and anyone traveling with friends who wants to come home without money stress.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-30

• Made for iPhone Duo: PocketTrip works on both the outer screen and the big inner screen. Unfold your phone and see your whole trip at a glance.
• Multi-day expenses: spread a hotel or rental over several days, and each day's budget only counts its share.
• Stay on track: the Budget Forecast card now shows whether you're over or under plan so far.
• New widgets: keep today's budget on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, including a ring that fills up as you spend.
• Fairer daily budget: what you spend today no longer shrinks today's budget twice.
• Many bug fixes and improvements.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-10

• Budget per category: give food, activities or anything else its own limit. You get a heads-up when you get close and when you go over.
• Faster logging: ask Siri to add an expense, add a button to Control Center, and keep today's budget on your Lock Screen with a Live Activity.
• More accurate amounts: smarter amount input, tips rounded to the cent, and no more saving without an exchange rate.
• Easier to use for everyone: better contrast in light and dark mode, improved VoiceOver support and larger text sizes.
• Many bug fixes and improvements.
