There’s a £1.50 charge Sending money out of your account? That’s a £1.50 charge Paying a direct debit? That’s a £1.50 charge Using your bank card? You guessed it that’s a charge! But it doesn’t stop there! Use the cash advance? Upfront charge + any of the above charges when you use it. But when you pay it back that’s £1.50 for transferring money to your account + another £1.50 for paying the money back, want to do it again that’s another £1.50 for paying the £5/£10/£20 and the cycle goes on. There charges is fraudulent and money missing in the account ### 1/5 — Hypocrite *2026-09-04, version 3.4.6* PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT POCKIT PLAYING DUBLE STANDRADS HERE AT THE OPENING ACCOUNT THEY SAID NO ID NEEDED OR ITS MADE VERY EASY. As soon as you got the the account up and running they put this under review and asked for all sort of things that they should ask first before opening the account, when under review. They will take unimaginable timeframe to finish reviewing it's kind of scam they freeze your money and use it to own purpose and put customers under long wait by using term review. My foot I would say. Be careful when you opening the account with them. They then froze my account again and told me to wait 7 days which I did. They then told me to wait 5 days which I did. Only to be told they is no time frame to how long I have to wait. After i’ve been asked to provide documents about where my money comes from - i provided everything not once but twice. Been asked to upload documents for the 3rd time, i got mad soo i told them to delete my account. I wasn’t allowed to add money or get transfers i had an remaining payment to cash advance to do. How i’m i supposed to pay when i’m not allowed to add money or get transfers to my account which is resulting in bad credit for me. Pockit is not recommended honestly - i spent 500£+ on fees for no reason. I would strongly advise people to think twice before trusting Pockit with their money. My account was restricted and my £348.22 was locked away from me while they carried out a review. I understand that financial companies sometimes have to conduct checks, but the way Pockit handled this was extremely frustrating. I contacted customer service repeatedly and kept receiving the same generic responses telling me that my account was “under review” and that I simply had to wait. At one point I was told the review could take up to 8 working days, and later I was told they couldn’t even provide an exact timeframe. Meanwhile, I was unable to access my own money for regular and essential payments, which caused me financial problems at home. What makes this worse is the lack of proper communication. Nobody could give me a clear explanation of what was happening or when I would get access to my funds. I was basically told to keep waiting. For me, this is completely unacceptable. A financial service should give customers confidence that they can access their money when they need it. I have completely lost confidence in Pockit and will be closing my account once my money is released. My honest advice: if you are considering using Pockit, think very carefully before putting your money with them.
