## What is Pockit?

Pockit is a straightforward expense and income tracker that keeps your financial data on your own device, not in someone else's cloud.

KEY FEATURES
• Track both expenses and income, with a note and free-text tags on every entry
• Multiple accounts: cash, bank, card, savings, e-wallet, investment, loan, or other, each with its own balance
• Multi-currency support with your own exchange rates, so every account and transaction can use the currency that fits
• Transfer money between your own accounts, with the arriving amount calculated automatically
• Budgets: set a spending limit over a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or custom cycle, and watch your progress
• Categories with custom colors and icons, separate lists for expenses and income
• Stats with a category breakdown chart for either side of your ledger, over any date range
• Filter and search your history by date, category, account, or tag
• Optional app lock with Face ID, Touch ID, or a PIN
• Light and dark themes that follow your system or your own choice
• Back up and restore your data as a file, entirely under your control

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Pockit has no account, no sign-up, and no server. Your transactions, balances, notes, and tags never leave your device. Optional, anonymous crash and usage analytics can be turned off anytime in Settings, and never include your amounts, dates, notes, or any identifying data.

Whether you're tracking a simple monthly budget or juggling several accounts in different currencies, Pockit keeps it fast, private, and entirely yours.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-08

Pockit 1.1.0 is a big update: a redesigned Home, two new tabs, and a lot of polish.

New Home dashboard
A glance view of your money. An elevated balance card sits over an in versus out bar, a "Where it went" donut shows where your spending goes (tap a segment to name it), and your three most recent transactions are right there. Tap View all for the full day by day history.

Spent and Received tiles
See how this period compares with the last, along with a twelve month trend for each.

Accounts and Budgets are now tabs
Both used to be buried in Settings. They each have a place in the tab bar now, as lists you can reorder.

Hide your amounts
One tap on the eye hides every amount across the app, not just the balance. Tap again to bring them back.

Screen privacy
Optional, in Settings under Security. Pockit blurs itself in the app switcher, and screenshots and screen recordings of it come out blank.

Tidier list editing
Reordering and deleting on the Accounts, Budgets, Categories and Currencies lists now sit behind an Edit button, so a stray tap while reordering will not open the wrong screen.

Faster history
The transactions list opens instantly and stays smooth as you scroll, with a button to jump back to the top.

Fixes and refinements
Transfers between accounts in different currencies: the "Arrives as" amount now behaves correctly. Better dark mode contrast on the dashboard. Many small motion and layout improvements throughout.
