Pockity is designed to use a habit forming pattern so users can track expenses and budgets in real-time, instead of doing bulk imports of data.

### 1/5 — Sync fails

Stupid app tries to sync my phone’s data with iCloud — without my permission and without any way to cancel it — so the app fails at this point with no alternatives. This problem has existed at least since November 2025 when the first person wrote about it, but the developer apparently doesn’t care to fix it because it’s April 2026 at the time I’m writing this review.

**Developer response:** I have no support request from you. Had you contacted me, I would have told you to reboot the device and try, which fixes the issue. This is not an app issue.

Freezes in onboarding while syncing found data from iCloud. Ahhhhh, never used the app before, so I don’t have data to sync. Deleting

… aber hat es auch verdient, noch nachgebessert zu werden. Die Sprachübersetzung ist nicht glücklich gemacht, denn nur halb übersetzt. Die Überschrift und Schlagworte sind zwar deutsch, der Rest und Texte verbleiben aber in der Originalsprache. Ansonsten scheint es recht flott zu laufen, Start und Optik machen einiges her, schnell und freundliches Design. Aber bedingt durch die mangelhafte Übersetzung muß es wieder vom Mac weichen.  Wenn ich in einer späteren Version von Verbesserungen diesbezüglich höre, versuche ich es gerne erneut. Deshalb hier erst mal nur gut gemeint 3* zumal der Preis ja auch nicht zum niedrigsten Segment gehört.

Had some issues initially with the app crashing, but the developer is VERY responsive and had the issue resolved in less than 24 hours. The app is aesthetically pleasing to use, having a clean minimalist UI and complimented by powerful core functionality. I will update this review when I have had more of a chance to use it, but initial impressions are great. 5 Stars!
