I’ve tried one other podcast 2.0 app (Podverse) which would skip or rewind the podcast and replay a portion of it for no reason. Also some of the podcasts wouldn’t update. I paid for the upgraded features and it got even better. It’s easy to navigate, the podcast controls always work seamlessly. There are options to customize your listening experience without over complicating things. Sync occasionally broken when the app logs out your account for no reason. Most importantly, I can’t support developers who contribute effort and/or money to extremists like Curry and Dvorak, whose Mastodon instance had to be defederated due to all the hate speech posted. Please consider using a provider that isn’t currently in litigation for more violations of privacy laws than any other US company and also subsidizes the cost of their analytics services by collecting and selling your users data. I suggest an open source solution like Plausible or Open Web Analytics. I would like to support your app monetarily, but I can’t in good conscience give money to a developer making harmful technology choices that compromise user privacy to save costs. **Developer response:** Please, don't be that guy. If you have an honest concern or a feature request, use the proper channels (email or in-app feedback) and we'll be happy to engage. We're a tiny indie dev doing the best with the resources we have. You know what we do when someone comes and DEMANDS we change something while using a fear mongering title and cyberbullying us with a 1-star review? Nothing. I attempted to contact the podcast player about this, and no contact information is required. There is no confirmation that they received the message concerning this on their form page. ### 2/5 — Poor *2024-10-05, version 1.0.27* If you just want to listen to podcasts straight through I suppose this app is fine. It’s for a decent set of features. However, if you attempt to scan, fast forward, or reverse, it completely loses its place. These features are simply broken.
