You don't have the ability to edit the track, so you best be prepared and spot on for your podcast. Including bumper and theme music is too complex and you have to have it ready in your iTunes account for easiest accessibility. If you're like me and have a library of sound you want to use, but haven't edited the sound down to a seconds you want Podcast Studio doesn't allow you do this. You'll need to edit in a different program then import. All in all, I spent HOURS trying to figure this out. This app will not allow you to edit AT ALL. The help section is not helpful at all and the file extension will not allow you to convert the file. Way too many issues to name off. However, after I upgraded to the Silver Level subscription, it stopped working. I couldn't hear my background music as I was recording. The software kept crashing and I had to force quit. Also downloaded the Remote app for participants. Can't get through the very first step of creating a profile before it crashes. Repeatedly. I had an issue but was able to reach out to customer service and was really fast to asisst and fix the issue. ### 5/5 — Nice app *2020-04-17, version 1.2.2* I've toyed with the idea of doing my own podcast for a bit, and never got around to it. This application makes it so easy that I've finally recorded my first cast. The remote app is going to really come in handy for bringing on guests. Back to work! ### 3/5 — A little behind.. *2019-09-23, version 1.0.3* This app is absolutely the kind of thing the Mac needs but it isn't perfect. Their subscription model is arguably cheaper than other competing services (such as Zencastr) but at the same time they're behind on a few areas. The key one to note: remote recording doesn't appear to allow allow Mac -> Mac/PC. Remote participants *need* to use the iOS app as of right now, which (frankly) is nuts. Respectfully, it baffles me that this isn't cross platform in that regard. If they make it so, perhaps I'll switch, but until then this needs work to bring it up to par. I haven't been able to test their audio processing (purely because all my podcast hosts are remote; see point one) so I can't comment on that. In the later Catalina beta's the import track function also seems to fail with the track itself just "importing" constantly, but thats not necessarily the fault of the devs. I'm using an OS that isn't in official release. I like the look of this, and I love the idea. One place to do everything. IMO, they need to fix the remote application issue to allow non-iOS users that functionality and they should ensure their post-production is of absolute high quality. ### 2/5 — Cannot get skip to work! *2020-04-30, version 1.2.3* I'm so frustrated! I thought this was going to be a lifesaver, but I'm spending so much unnecessary time trying to fix issues.
