I've never switched to a different CRM. It seems to get the job done. However, I do not find the app user-friendly. The interface just doesn't seem like the interface from the Web. I wish the app had an interface like the Web. I heard they recently got acquired, so I'm hopeful that they can see this with you and they can make some updates to the app so that we could actually use the app. None of my teamMates use the app. ### 3/5 — Please make the app easier to use and have better work flow. *2026-05-09, version 26.2.0* On my computer I have the team section and the private section which on the app I do not have. The app does not do a good job a differentiating certain sections, which is crucial for organization and not wasting time having to sift through Leads to figure out which ones are mine or my team members also when we have new leads come in they get put in with the ones that have already been worked while on the computer that does not happen also, it could be made a bit easier to look at the lead instead of having all the information just smashed together. I like Podio this isn’t To bash Podio, but more to hope that you guys make an improvement and have it be easier to navigate like on the computer . Thank you. ### 2/5 — You pour your resources on branding??? *2025-12-05, version 25.11.0* If there’s ever a company out of touch, it’s this one. Take a better look and do a little self-reflection if you think changing your logo does anything to help your users. It is a self-serving move and displays Podio’s ongoing commitment to not doing much of anything in terms of usability, despite its change in ownership earlier. ### 2/5 — A decade out of date *2025-11-05, version 25.6.0* Unfortunately, the mobile app hasn’t kept pace with the web-based version. (Which is a big problem, because the web based version blocks you from accessing a lot of the content and tries to force you to use the app.) The mobile app can’t even do the most basic functions like filtering and sorting, so it’s pretty much useless. If you know *exactly* what you’re looking for, *sometimes* the search function will suffice. Again, lack of filtering or sorting makes it infinitely less useful. Also, the clunky interface is trying to slow you down and prevent you from accomplishing anything, whether trying to navigate to something specific, looking at the entries in an “app,” or attempting to edit an entry, among others. The Podio team probably ought to start from scratch and make something usable and modern. ### 2/5 — Phone App Could Be Better *2025-08-16, version 25.6.0* I love Podio and I love using it on my computer, but the phone app could really use some improvements, especially in how user friendly it is. ### 3/5 — Really good and most customizable *2025-02-11, version 25.1.0* We run a pretty big real estate team using many different tools all synced into Podio. We got a big team and everyone can use it. If you can imagine it you can do it. We do a ton of automation, programming, push/pull, Ai, etc Beware tho you’ll need a semi full time programmer for anything past the the beginner intermediate stuff we got tons of python globiflow and Zapier systems all bridged into it ### 1/5 — Don’t Trust Your Data in Podio *2023-09-17, version 22.12.0* Don’t Trust Your Data With Podio. 10 years of Data, and they just deleted it. I was a user of Podio for, maybe close to 10 years, and they were starting to get really popular in my industry (as it were very user friendly as a CRM). And during that time they were bought out by a bigger company, Citrix; And like most times as I’ve noticed, when a bigger company takes over a smaller company they make changes, and those changes usually includes adding or raising fees - but hey, you gotta make a buck some somehow, right, and so the fees were reasonably priced and not a big deal for me and my use. So getting to the point, like many people, if you have a business that you work seasonally, whatever, there may be times of inactivity, which NEVER WAS AN ISSUE BEFORE while pushing on close to 10 years of use and storing my data!!!!! So recently, I had some drastic life events going on, and so I hadn’t logged in for maybe 3 or 4 months (keep in mind, I’ve had longer periods of inactivity a couple time before with NO issue). But once those life events were at least somewhat settled, and it was time to get back to business, I go to log in to find ALL OF MY DATA WIPED!!! Important CONTACTS that took years to build, COMPLETELY gone. I reach out to a support rep, and all they can tell me is, well, “we sent you an email.” YOU SENT ME AN EMAIL!!!!! If I’m not logging into my account with you guys, maybe I have BIGGER STUFF GOING ON that means I haven’t been able to check the email associated with my account with you guys. The email they sent it to was the email that was just for this business and this account, which had been put on pause while I deal with personal matters. Also, I’ve have longer periods of inactivity over the course of close to 10 years AND NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE. On “later” research (too bad I had to find this out the hard way as they don’t advertise this part well enough to existing users), apparently, they changed their policy to where they WILL DELETE YOUR DATA WITH THE QUICKNESS!!! …For paid subscription levels, if you go 1 month without logging in or inactivity or your card changed etc, YOUR DATA IS NOW ELIGIBLE TO BE DELETED, and for free subscription level users, if you go 3 months without signing in, YOUR DATA IS ELIGIBLE TO BE DELETED!!!! 10 YEARS OF IMPORTANT BUSINESS CONTACTS, ALL GONE!!!! You couldn’t just export my data in a spreadsheet before just deleting it!!! The point to take home, your data is NO LONGER SAFE IN PODIO CRM. Because of them, I’m now scared to trust safekeeping my business contacts in any CRM for that matter. ### 3/5 — Bait and Switch Free model *2023-08-12, version 22.12.0* They get you started and you take up a bunch of time starting a database for free. Then, after adding like 20 contacts, you learn that you cannot add anyone else or will have to switch to a paid plan. That would be fine, but I don’t think the paid plan is worth $14/month. It’s pretty basic software, and a little bit dated in my opinion. Definitely not worth $168 PER YEAR, EVERY YEAR. I would value this software at a one time $50 license fee. That’s it. ### 3/5 — Gets the job done but crashes on mobile often *2023-06-09, version 22.12.0* If you could get the app to stop shutting down it would be perfect. ### 1/5 — Non stop crashing *2023-05-25* This app crashes all the time. If the developers were to check the crash logs for my Podio account they would see how many times it crashes. The entire team is making progress in working m to convince our CEO to get rid of Podio due to its inability to load timely and constant crashing. ### 1/5 — Only good for notifications. *2021-11-23, version 21.11.5* I would love to see how 5-Star reviewers are using this app ( I mean that genuinely). All this app is good for me is receiving notifications and making comments. Theres features I use that I cannot view on the app. I certainly could not start a project from scratch. It’s great for instant notifications and communication but that’s really it. ### 3/5 — Difficult to use on an iPhone on the go *2021-10-14, version 21.9.0* There are annoyances, like My Views, doesn’t reflect the same format or convenience from the computer model. Crashes constantly and have to re do your work over and over. Can’t upload photos and make comments at the same time. Can’t make task and add photos have to save then add comment to have photos attached. ### 1/5 — Not what I was sold, DO NOT TRUST THEM *2025-03-12, version 25.1.0* I had been using Podio since 2012 with good results until they sold to a new company last fall. Service went down, issues went up, they billed me for far more than we had agreed to and they billed how me early as well. I had to fight with them and report it to my bank fraud in order to get my money back. I am only on it now while I work to move things to another program. No matter how many times we uninstall and reinstall, it continues along this path. Very unfortunate! ### 1/5 — Wrongfully Billed and No Refund *2024-10-24* I had an awful experience with Podio. They wrongfully billed me for services I didn’t authorize, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, they refused to issue a refund. Their customer service is unhelpful and dismissive. I feel completely scammed, and I strongly urge anyone considering using Podio to stay far away from this company. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes and have terrible support. I am a real estate broker and use it as a CRM, prospecting tool and a data aggregator which helps me keep track of the market in real time. While it took me a long time to develop the tools, and the skill set it takes to program them, it was well worth it. Once you learn how to develop automations, you have a skill set, they could be used in any industry.
